✎ 12.09.2019 // oh my gosh...I FINALLY FINISHED THE SEMESTER!!! i rly thought this semester would never end so this feels a bit unreal? like when I stand back and look at this semester...i realize how insane it was!
in the past sixteen weeks i planned my wedding, worked part-time, got married, completed 237 hours of internship, went on my honeymoon, and opened my etsy shop—all while working my way thru two classes! *deep breath* it was... a lot! but i made it through with my sanity barely in tact!!!
now it's break time, baby ♡ it may sound sad but i'm so excited to do "normal" things like clean my apartment, read for fun, take naps, work on passion projects, etc!!! aHHH!

it’s time 2 quit being sedentary. If you are physically able, go outside. Not in a “go outside you strange internet hermit way” but just a “go walk down the street and be present in your own neighborhood” type way. Just noticing the seasons changing and paying attention to people and houses and street signs and critters is very very good for mental health and shakes off that dissociation, depersonalization feeling.

I’m going to start a ‘journal’ for my bachelor thesis process to see how I’m going to do over a longer period of time. Another post about it is going to be uploaded soon. Let me just say that I finally feel ready for doing this. My student exchange has given me tools to work on such a long paper and completely in English, plus some research papers have been published this year which turn out to be very useful. Cheers to graduating before the end of this year!

job apps are not! my fave! new plan: start a business fixing & editing all of the websites i’ve come across while checking out companies. if i have to read through another ‘about us’ page that is: a) grammatically incorrect and b) full of typos, i will absolutely scream

15 November 2019 | A season of much preparation is upon us! As the term nears its final stretch, I’m settling in to review and revise all that I’ve learned in the past few months. As temperatures fall and snow blankets the ground, I’m trying to find any way I can to remain cozy rather than distressed at the fleeting hours of daylight. But most importantly, as the Nativity of the Lord approaches, I’m longing to find rest and comfort in prayer as we anticipate Christ’s Incarnation. This season has historically been one that I subtly dread as busyness, distractedness, and worldly cares obscure what should be the focus of the season, but I am hopeful that this year will be different. I hope the coming weeks are ones of joyful expectation for you all!

the only reason why i managed to push through a day-long revision of quantum physics is because i know this will be over very soon 🌟 ib physics HL has given me multiple meltdowns despite being one of my favorite subjects, so i’m pretty excited for the holidays!
for everyone else taking the november IB exams, you’ve got this!
