31 Days of Christmas: “Sugar Rum Cherry (Dance of the Sugar-Plum Fairy)” by Duke Ellington from the 1960 album Three Suites.

Fascinating album as Duke Ellington reworks a couple of classical pieces into jazz. It’s called Three Suites because of the three pieces he took on. The first being Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite, the second being Edvard Grieg’s Peer Gynt suite and the last being one of his own composition. An excellent listen.

The opening of Billy Idol's "Dancing with myself" is an actual emotion that I cannot describe with words, but this was how I felt age 15-25 and I still do occasionally though I'm hundreds of years older nowadays 😃

It’s Silent Night’s 200th birthday and there is a beautiful documentary about the history of the song. It’s in german and it aired already on german tv. They put this stream online and it will be available until the 25th December. Even if you don’t speak german maybe give it a try, there’s lots of music and christmas scenery in it 🎅
