*** This traditional brand of vacantism is NOT mine. I don’t share their political views. I do not define my catholicism as based on XIXth century monarchical and right-wing (or even far-right) ideas. Mundane politics don’t match with “My Kingdom is not of this world”! We have to keep things separate. Apolitical “vacantism”. At one point or another I may have shifted to HIGH CHURCH Anglicanism standards and the English Via Media. And John Paul II (note: the Second) was never my Pope. I sort of took a long vacation, away from papacy. Now I gave Pope Francis a chance and I was wrong in doing so; his ambiguity toward Trump during the 2024 political campaign is unforgivable. Who will be the next long-awaited  Italian pope?..

*** Did the current Pope actually called to vote for TRUMP, as the lesser evil?.. Well... he did! (Not his best moment...) Sometimes a binary choice is not the solution, try a third way. Better stay out of common (especially American) politics. No doubt HARRIS was actually THE Christian candidate and, no matter what she said about reproductive rights, the best choice... (I’m an Independent.)
