In honor of both Sirens of the Deep and The Witcher 4 being announced, I made a Renfri art page! Shes been my favorite character for so long now that not only did she deserve one, but I just really missed drawing her😭

When drawing Renfri I like to mix both her show design(my favorite), with her canon and book designs. In the comic, Renfri has a purple outfit that I adore on her, and in the books, she has blue eyes.

The Witcher moral conundrums discussed with the Trolley Problem

Everyone loves the Trolley Problem, so this here is Emhyr's situation: not even the biblical atrocity of "kill your child because you think a supernatural thing said so" but "only" kinda "torture your child and yourself or the whole world dies". Who would not consider it. I'd say most people would DO it.

Well, Emhyr didn't. He couldn't. He said "well then we'll all die I guess", and left.

And this is Blaviken.

And Geralt indeed did what we all see as the actual solution to the trolley problem: stop the fucking trolley.

He didn't kill Renfri because she was "born evil" (which was bullshit) but because he had to stop her from going to kill off village kids one by one. Just because using Geralt as a weapon and Blaviken as pressure sounded better to her than waiting a bit longer to get to Stregobor another way.

Genya's story could esily be re-written into Snow White. Renfri of Grishaverse with the King instead of the huntsman, if you will:

‘Geralt,’ she said, ‘I used to be a princess. I had everything I could dream of. Servants at my beck and call, dresses, shoes. Cambric knickers. Jewels and trinkets, ponies, goldfish in a pond. Dolls, and a doll’s house bigger than this room. That was my life until Stregobor and that whore Aridea ordered a huntsman to butcher me in the forest and bring back my heart and liver. Lovely, don’t you think?’ ‘No. I’m pleased you evaded the huntsman, Renfri.’ ‘Like shit I did. He took pity on me and let me go. After the son-of-a-bitch raped me and robbed me.’

Another change would be the Queen needs to keep the "Princess" around for some reason, only in much humiliated state.

And the Prince wouldn't save her with a kiss (Let's be honest- probably not his first thought.), but his wits concocting the antidote for the poison the Queen eventually uses on her.

It would also offer them something to bond over.

edit: The poison's made by Genya herself. Either intended for the Queen and stolen, or the Queen tricked her to make it as if for someone else and gave it to her secretly.

The weekly update for The lesser Evil is here. This one sees the trio and Striga finally go out on the actually battle field, making their way between enemy lines.

They all know it is risky - doubly so for Striga. Because if the cloudcover was to break at dawn, she might not survive.

Biden at least supports women's rights, LGBTQ rights and the rights of people of color, and continuing the whole democracy thing. THE LESSER EVIL IS NOT IN QUESTION vote for Biden or you are voting for greater death tolls in Gaza.

Have the guts to look them all in the eye and warn them first.

Another Friday, another update. The group in Vienna really is in trouble, as they find themselves between the Black Army and the demons. Meanwhile Isaac tries to negotiate peace with Bavaria in exchange for their help in the battlefield.

*** Did the current Pope actually called to vote for TRUMP, as the lesser evil?.. Well... he did! (Not his best moment...) Sometimes a binary choice is not the solution, try a third way. Better stay out of common (especially American) politics. No doubt HARRIS was actually THE Christian candidate and, no matter what she said about reproductive rights, the best choice... (I’m an Independent.)
