Dystopia, Chapter 26 - The Vision
Dystopia (Reylo Cyperpunk AU) Chapter 26 - The Vision (Read on Ao3)
Quote
Yoda pointed a finger at him. “That is the future you see.”
Kylo’s eyes shot wide open in disbelief. “The future?” he questioned, as if he hadn’t heard right. But he saw no trace of doubt on his master’s face. “I-is Rei going to die?”
The master’s face turned somber and grave. He closed his eyes for a brief moment, before eyeing his pupil once more. “Difficult to know. Always in motion, the future is.”
Thanks to @my-jedi-life for betaying the chapter!! ❤️
I LIVE FOLKS. You thought I had fallen into the Sarlacc pit, but here I am, living and writing again!
❤️ I will post the updates here and also on my other blog. But I won’t be reblogging, so if you can help me with a reblog, I’d be eternally grateful. ❤️
Love to all of ya!

Writing and hospitalization
Hello my dears, I just wanted to let the folks who are waiting for updates know that my writing has been strongly delayed since I have been hospitalized for a major premature delivery risk. Needless to say I am worried and prayers do help. ❤️ When I come out of the hospital I will have time to get back to it. Could you please pass on the post? Thanks! Love, ❤️ Cosmo

This is so accurate it hurts.
Congratulations, you are a writer! Prepare to get:
Characters popping up in your dreams
Characters popping up in your head everytime, like, damn it, Jason, I’m taking an exam here!
Weird habits you picked from your characters
The urge to make faces as you write because that’s what your characters are doing
Weird internet history
A really unsettling knowledge on poisons and murder in general
The urge to slam your face on your desk
Notebooks and notebooks cravings, even if you write on your computer
Those I wish there was more content for my characters. Oh, right. I have to make it moments.
The same daydream before falling asleep, and sometimes you cut it and restart from scrap, now with more feeling.
The urge to insert your new obsession in your current WIP but you don’t have guns in middle ages damn it.
The painful experience of wanting to tell everybody about it but at the same time not wanting anybody to know
A thousand ideas or none at all for months.

Historical Novels Recs
Hello folks!
January has been an intense reading process for me after leaving the Reylo fandom. I have focused a lot on reading historical novels since I want to write one, and I am already summing up thousands of read pages for this month.
Here are my january recommendations!
The Indigo Girl by Natasha Boyd. The fascinating story of a 1740 young girl who is left as master of a plantation in South Carolina at the young age of 16 and her adventures to discover the secrets of the Indigo plant. It’s an epic story, with romance, betrayals, and above all the story of a courageous and revolutionary woman. Based on a true story.
America’s First Daughter, by Stephany Dray and Laura Kamoie. I cannot recommend this book enough. It’s the story of “Patsy” Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson’s eldest daughter. The book is not only an intense historical research but also profoundly compelling. I was on the verge of tears so many times. The life of that woman is just astonishing, between Revolutionary France and slave-owned Virginia, her stuggle as a daughter, mother and wife. It made me reflect a lot about our XXIst century way of life, our fear of death and our vision of the world in a materialist era. The authors also have a wonderful way of writing.
A Single Thread by Tracy Chevalier. While this is not Chevalier’s best book, I still liked it a lot. The story is based in 1932 in England, and tells the struggle of a 38 year old woman, facing solitude, family problems and the lack of men in the post WWI era. Her writing is sharp and always so straightforward.
Happy reading!

Wonderful movie. I love that Rian takes pictures of his sets in Black and White.

This entire movie confirms to me that Rian Johnson is such an incredible film maker. The movie doesn’t let you go for one minute, the plot is thick and so well done it’s better than an Agatha Christie. And most of all, I could go on about the aesthetics for ages.
Bravo Rian!
The game is afoot. Eh, Watson?

Two of my favorite things: cats and your writing. So I think this is the blog for me. I can’t wait to see what you create and curate here. As a veteran of a recent total life reboot, I am so excited to see what this change brings you! ❤️❤️❤️
Awww thank you so much for this message dear anon!! ❤️ I am a terrible cat lover, so I will post all the cute cat-calendar pics I have hahah
I know about life reboots too, I went through one very rough one eleven years ago, and it was one of the best decisions I took in my entire life!
Thank you so much for this and welcome to the blog! ❤️
