I know it's still August, and I know it was in the 90's a few days ago... but I'm ready for autumn!

This pattern is adapted from a small part of a Prairie Schooler design called Sweeping Cobwebs. I added the leaves and gourd to the first and third cat and edited the pumpkin and cat designs.

If I had to pick a favorite cryptid, my choice would always be the jackalope. Something about them just speaks to me. Maybe it's just because they're known to imitate human voices, though... The pattern is available for sale on Etsy!

I am so in love with my new jack o' lantern tote bag! It's made up of 13 granny squares sewed together and is fully lined - and it even has a pocket!

Fresh off the hoop - my latest cross stitch! I've been wanting to try a "watercolor style" piece for a while, and I think this turned out better than I anticipated.

After quite a few hours of pattern designing and stitching, I've finished my Bee and Puppycat cross stitch, featuring a quote from Cardamom. Isn't it cute?

I've been wanting to do a Night in the Woods cross stitch since I first played the game, and after a lot of designing I came up with this. The idea is based on the two soundtrack album covers. I couldn't be more pleased with the results!

Behold, the wonders of backstitching! This holiday cutie took me about four days to stitch. The pattern can be found for free here!

I haven’t felt like cross stitching any larger projects lately, so I decided to do some smaller autumnal pieces. (And, yes, one larger one - but the blackwork was too fun an idea to skip!)

The lovely owl on the middle right is by Wild Violet - check out their patterns!

The black cat I found on Pinterest and was posted by Alexa Fulton. I added the leaves and flower.

I thought that I used a pattern for the crow and pumpkins, but I can’t find it. If you know the artist, please let me know!

Finally, the larger pumpkin and the spooky-themed blackwork were designed by me. I just had to include a close-up of that one. Each of the sections of the pumpkin features a different spooky-themed design!

This isn't the closest game of yarn chicken that I've ever won, but it's certainly close!

The (free!) pattern is the Wanderlust scarf by Kirsten Holloway Designs, and the yarn is Lion Brand Mandala in Phoenix.

I made eevee and the first three eeveelutions into magnets years ago. This year, I finally completed the set.

The pattern for all of them (except Sylveon - I had to make my own for that one, as I believe the pattern was made before Gen 6) can be found for free on the Sprite Stitch forums.

This rather large cross Stitch (it fits tightly in a 12x16 frame) was commissioned by someone who works for the city of Chicago. Apparently, they get paid every month on the 7th and the 22nd, so the work it's all about those two days.

Some days you're the eagle, and some days you're the liver.

I changed up the colors, as I didn't have the right floss numbers on hand, and ended up squishing it a bit to make it fit my fabric nicely, but I think it all worked out in the end.
