I watch J3lly making meshes when they jump in chat. I watched them make the Star earrings they also got accused of copying. Some people just like nitpicking and making everything about them without doing the proper ass research and it shows.

Y'all wanna suck so hard on someone's dick. First of all, I don't start shit without reason. I don't post much and I mainly reblog quietly. I wouldn't have pointed out those ears if I didn't notice that it looked oddly familiar to some ears I've seen or downloaded before. I stared at those ears until I looked up different ears to figure out why they looked so familiar and realized they looked like Saruin's Frieren ears specifically. They are two different creators with two different styles so why TF does his ears look like an edited version of hers? From the start of the mesh, to the tragus and inside of the ear, they look similar enough to get pointed out.

To the ones asking, I'm not gonna open up blender because... I don't have blender and I'm not a cc creator so why would I? Not every cc enjoyer is gonna have blender just because, unless they dabble in 3D meshing themselves. But if people with eyes can clearly tell right off the bat that someone's cc looks suspiciously like someone else's then y'all should know something is up. And no, I'm not downloading it just for this reason when I have no space for it on my PC anyway.

Now lemme tell y'all something, no one gives a flying rat's ass about different creators getting inspo from the same things, or getting commissioned the same thing. Because if they actually meshed the cc themselves or gave credit to meshes they edited or recolored from, then there should be no issue. Hardly anyone gets called out for having similar cc or inspo. And that ain't new, if that was the case then people would be getting called out left and right. What makes y'all think that this was the reason?

Speaking of inspo, my call out has nothing to do with inspiration when both the ears are made from two different inspos to begin with, it was solely mesh related. Saruin's was a commission. J3lly started making his ears afterwards. There is no correlation there, but people want to insist on that. And yeah, no one owns shapes, but that's not the point for either call outs.

We love creativity. We love seeing different perspectives from the different creators we follow. But when one creator starts copying or stealing from others then that's where the issues and call outs begin. Not only did he take from Saruin and Gloomie, he's also taken from Hym and probably others, but those I know for sure. When there's no honesty in your work then it falls flat and it hurts the other creators you're taking from.

And since I don't personally have any proof, I'm dropping this after this post cause I got nothing else to say or give to y'all unless someone else wanna step up. In a reblog, I asked him to show the topography since he never showed that when trying to prove his innocence. He never did respond to that. I guess he don't have to, but for me, it doesn't help his case if you want people to wholeheartedly believe you aren't stealing.

Besides, even if one was to reference the UV maps, it would still not look the same especially if you're creating your mesh from scratch, your style is not going to match someone else's. He supposedly referenced multiple people's ears for the UV maps, yet the ear looks similar to Saruin's alone and not at least a mix. But if I'm fr in the wrong here then I'll own up to it, I don't care. Cause if I'm wrong, I'm wrong. But this definitely ain't a coincidence when there have been instances of other creators noticing their cc being copied by him as well as regular simblrs who download it.

I doubt anyone is calling him out left and right just for funsies. Because no one cares that much unless he did something for people to just fuck with him like that. There's clearly an issue here.

this is me, formally begging for cc creators to make actually out of the box cc for the new pack. i dont just want to see the same crop top with 2 swatches added to it or the same pair of jeans except this time theyre sparkly. i want to see actual ethereal custom content. i want masks with multiple wings, i want body shimmer that make it look like your sims always glowing, i want makeup that looks iridescent, i want dark claws and fangs, i want flowers and leaves and vines. i want huge wings, i want tiny wings, i want bright and bold and colorful and dark and mysterious and creepy. i want messy hair and button noses and long braids that cascade like a waterfall. i want flowing dresses in silk and satin, i want cotton and linen, i want blood spatter and dried blood and grass stains and corsets and stays and vests. i want a faun face, i want clothes for satyrs and gold and silver and trinkets hanging from belts. i want so many accessories i want crowns and horns and rings and bracelets and necklaces layered on each other. i want long hair for guys, i want flowy pants and shirts and ruffles and layers. i want royal and regal i want monarch of the fae i want terrifying yet ethereal. please. just something new

After the acclaimed Penance in Ruin, Crucifix Echo has confirmed whispers of a new album, titled Litanies for the Forsaken — set to drop immediately after their Edgewave set. Sources close to the band claim the record is “less fire, more funeral,” with lyrics pulled straight from a lost gospel of defiance. Oh, and that rumoured unreleased track? It's real. And it’s coming.

2025 Edgewave Stage Blender Scene

For another year, I've meticulously recreated @aniraklova's Edgewave lot in blender, and now I'm sharing it with you!

Same as last year, it is NOT a 1:1 recreation. But it is very much based on and inspired by the Edgewave lot!

Some info:

THIS IS A BLENDER SCENE NOT FOR THE GAME

I RUN MY RENDERS IN CYCLES - this was built for cycles and NOT tested with Eevee! (but feel free to adjust/run in Eevee!)

Made with Blender 4.3.2

Only instruments from the original lot are included - feel free to design the stage as you see fit!

The stage screens are grey on install, but you can replace them with your band's images with the included files:

Replace those files with yours and then plug them into the texture nodes. If you need help with this please reach out!

Tested but please let me know of any issues! (thank you for testing it @hell-is-coming-for-you!)
