I only started watching South Park a few months ago, and I have not been able to stop thinking about Bradley Biggle. One of the most fascinating things is that it seems like anyone who thinks of him at all either despises him or adores him. I point him out every time I see him in the background of an episode. I started ranting to my family like a conspiracy theorist when I saw him in season 19, and similarly when I noticed the wiki pages for that season have a dedicated section for "Bradley Biggle sightings." He's on the "Have you seen me?" posters, like the visitors, and I'm pretty sure Damien's on one of those in Stick of Truth - are they really missing, or are they being hunted down by the government or something? Speaking of Stick of Truth, why is he hiding in a bush? Doesn't that mean he was already on Earth days before his appearance in Bring The Crunch? Why does he make doves carry him in his angel outfit in Phone Destroyer when HE CAN FLY??? I know he literally enslaves aliens but the entirely unnecessary animal cruelty just baffles me. HE baffles me.

march check-in

Fully fell into the South Park fandom. I've started a Team Rocket / Chaos Kid playthrough of TFBW because I realized I could just take the child in the Creek divorce and not give him back. Now I'm trying to finish the game with every possible animal in my inventory, also my weakness is Chaos Kids because I am a fellow Chaos Kid and don't want to fight them. I have to prioritize my allies by Evilness so the order is 1: Chaos 2: Cartman 3: Mintberry Crunch 4: Henrietta 5: Mosquito 6: Craig and I can't use anyone else. Clyde and Craig were villains last game so they're just barely usable, Chaos and Cartman are obvious, Henrietta is a neutral party, and Mintberry Crunch whom I hate.

Still on the note of South Park, Echos and I have already started fleshing out entire Fantasy and Superhero AUs (based on sot and tfbw ofc). We've nicknamed the superhero one "Soup" and we've also got "Stew" which is like Soup but Different. There's also the concept of a Prettycure AU but that one hasn't touched in weeks. And Echos' Purgatory AU. Soon the South Park Animatic Scripts doc is going to rival the length of the Camp Camp Animatic Scripts doc, if it doesn't already.

Taking a storyboard class which is fun because that's my favorite hobby. Thing I've been struggling with is I can't just make a storyboard for a fandom music video, so I'm completely stuck. After Effects is neat too.

Been playing Pony Town. Played as Krampy from Cattails and I tried to have the lights shop be his clinic but everyone was just buying drugs and then the cops were called on me for selling drugs.

Might split CK's Monthly Tumblr Day into two days this month so I can answer ask tomorrow.

Dez could absorb electricity. Meaning she can’t use phones or anything that requires a charge, because she’ll suck the energy right out of it. And when she absorbs too much… well, you don’t want to be there when that happens.

Also yeeeees make Nevin choose between his morals and having his brother back. He could even get Felix to help if he’s really desperate. (It’d also be fun if it was one of those ‘this is what I asked for but not what I wanted’ scenarios. Like the twins being stuck permanently in one body and never being able to really touch or communicate fully.)

Dez draining electricity has already been considered for like a year because, funnily enough, I had a great grandfather or uncle or something that couldn't wear watches because they'd run out of battery on him. Looked it up and apparently it's a surprisingly common phenomenon that occurs because some people have more electricity in them? So actually yeah that could work. But the thing that's been stopping me from settling on that is that it's just a little too out of line from the other curses. I guess I just can't find a way to more it horror-y or dramatic enough. Like, Edward's afraid of hurting people with his strings but his attempts to hide it and appear "normal" instead of confiding in others ends up hurting himself instead, Drew's powers prioritized understanding others to the point where he literally couldn't see past others' emotions (plus the whole healing thing), and Nevin's going through a whole mess. And then Isaac is honestly mostly just vibes. I haven't been able to find a way to make draining electricity fit in with the rest of them. (having the exact opposite issue with Chris where I can imagine so many curses that I'd love to place upon him, but I can't tie any of them back to his power being having a sword.)

Also thanks for even more ideas as to how to make Nevin suffer. I'll write down "get Felix involved" alongside "let him recover slightly right before the Isaac scene" and see if I can get a whole list of plans going. No blorbo of mine's gonna have a good time on my watch.

I scrapped this pmv/animatic (whatever you wanna call it) because the AU had changed a lot, plus I ran out of time on the computers I was working on, plus I wanted to make some artstyle changes, etc. You can find out more about curse!ibvs here.

In case you're curious, the original script is below the cut. I made some changes while drawing, which you can probably notice, but the core is still there.

Speaking parts: Drew Isaac Edward Chris Charlie Nevin Each character other than Drew will have a blob of colors floating around their head at all times, except when stated otherwise.

(Intro) Foxfield High School, losing color and becoming the desaturated and more dangerous appearance that signifies Curse!IBVS. Drew walks into Foxfield and down one of the halls, looking a little confused at his surroundings. There’s a duller and more monstrous appearance to everything, plus all of the kids don’t seem to recognize Drew. He’s very saturated compared to the rest of them.

“Excuse the renovations, our Doberman Dalmatians.” Edward blocks Drew’s view of the art room. Edward believes Drew is a new student. After all, he’d never met this kid before. Edward just wants this new guy’s first impression not to be “This place is full of weirdos.”

“We're just making preparations for the false flag operation.” Ed making excuses and walking down the hall, Drew in tow. Isaac, with only half of his face shown, raises an eyebrow and follows.

“Anyway, your participation in The Lemming Corporation includes two full weeks paid vacation, white-washed accommodations.” Edward is still talking to Drew while walking, purposefully blocking half of Isaac’s face every time the trumpet in the song makes a noise. Whenever Ed isn’t blocking it, something else is conveniently blocking it from the camera’s view.

“At the company plantation, there's a safe sensation, bottomless libations with your full cooperation.” Isaac ignores Edward and joins in with the tour, walking around Drew in a clockwise direction so the other half of his face still cannot be seen. At “full cooperation” Drew tugs on Isaac’s sleeve, and Isaac stops.

“Thank you for your patience…” Isaac says this, confused, and turns his head, so the drawing half of his face is finally on-screen and very much moving. Drew isn’t really scared at this part, just frightened/surprised.

“We're here to help, we're here to help you! You need not worry 'bout that” Edward interrupts and quickly tries to distract Drew from Isaac. At the five guitar strums, everywhere around Drew flickers into a colorful void. The colors are actually Edward and Isaac’s emotions, but Drew doesn’t realize this yet.

“Hullabaloo, hullabaloo, hull-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-laaaa-baloo” Drew, now panicking, looks around the void, and suddenly feels something touch his shoulder (this is Isaac, trying to see if Drew is okay, but Drew and the viewers are unable to see him). He freaks out and dashes down the invisible hallway, running into invisible walls and eventually finding an invisible corner to turn. There are different colors in the place he ends up in.

“Doom is the mood in the room.” The void fades back into reality, the colors fading away to reveal Chris and Charlie, arguing in an empty classroom. Neither have noticed Drew. No emotion colors at all in this part or the next.

“Evil looms, darkness lurks. Safety in numbers, members perks! Things are sad, they will get worse. We want you bad, this army church!” Chris appears to switch between different sides of the argument, but it’s actually him and Charlie arguing and flipping between who’s controlling Chris’ body.

“The fence is not a safe place for you to stay. Don't think you understand the forces at play!” They argue more, and Drew gets a headache so he holds his head in his hands.

“Care for a Serviette, James?” The room fades into colors once more, and Drew slumps against the invisible wall, head still in hands.

“You got Kool-Aid, kid, all over your face! Hear my words, sing my song…” Drew watches the colors swap places as the person speaking switches. That’s strange, ‘cause he was told Charlie wasn’t stuck with Chris anymore.

“Opportunities knockin, ding-ding-ity-dong!” Drew returns to reality, with Chris and Charlie talking to him. Charlie knocks on Drew’s head at the “ding-ding-ity-dong!” part, in an “earth to the new kid, wakey wakey” fashion.

“We're encrypted, subscripted, soldiers of the brand. Homo-lookalikes, million-man marching band.” Charlie points out that Drew looks so much like Nevin. Chris wants to leave this kid alone.

“So let me look ya in the eye straight when I ask ya!” Charlie talks to Drew, but Drew ignores him and stands up.

“Will you take my word? Will ya take my hand?” Drew wobbles over to the door, Charlie still talking to him in the background.

“Shake it, shake it, shake it! Shake my goddamn ole, wrinkly hand!” Drew looks down the hall and sees Edward’s and Isaac’s emotion colors getting closer (Drew has a sort of ‘shit, not again’ look), before he gets blinded by their and Chris/Charlie’s emotions again.

“Hullabaloo, hullabaloo, hull-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-laaaa-baloo! (Hull-a-bal-oo, hull-a-bal-oo)” Drew once again panics and runs through the colors, occasionally running into the walls of the invisible hallway.

“I got this buzzin' in my ear, it's here for good I fear, my dear.” He eventually gets far enough away that he can kinda see the hallway, and opens a difficult-to-see door he recognizes leads out to behind the school. He runs through the door, slams it closed and sits against the wall next to it.

“Got these spots in my sights like I can't turn out the lights…” He closes his eyes, holding his forehead.

“Sweat drips from my palms all day long. Don't wanna fuck this up man, I can't get this wrong! It's clear in my mind as a traffic jam, I think there might be something wrong with Uncle” A new set of colors fades in, returning Drew to utter blindness. He looks up, scared, and watches where he guesses the source of the colors is. The colors drop down to the point where the source (or a barely visible silhouette?) would be at eye level with Drew, and remain frozen like that for the entirety of “I think there might be something wrong with uncle-”.

“Graham…” Drew can once again see and the source of the emotions is revealed to be Nevin, who has carefully placed his hands on Drew’s shoulders reassuringly.

“It's calm in my head as a high-speed chase.” Drew and Nevin stand up, and Drew hugs Nevin. Nevin is surprised and sad, keeping his arms at least a few inches away from Drew.

“Got those memories man, that you can't erase.” Drew talks to Nevin, and Nevin gives a reassuring smile.

“I do what I gotta do.” Drew backs away and pulls on Nevin’s wrist to get him to run, and Nevin accidentally grabs onto Drew’s arm for support, causing Drew to grip his own arm and cry out in pain. Nevin steps back, horrified. His expression softens and shadows shield his face.

“Just run away from that” He then turns around to face the door and speaks. He knows Drew isn’t meant to be here (though he thinks Drew is a ghost or something). The world once again flickers into colors.

“Hullabaloo! Hullabaloo!” Drew stays for a moment, but decides to just start running the opposite direction of Nevin’s emotions, still holding onto his own injured arm.

“Hull-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-laaaa-baloo!” He runs far enough that the colors start fading away again.

“Hull-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-laaaa-” While running, suddenly a circular portal appears in front of him. He doesn’t have time to stop before he trips through it-

“-baloo!” -and finds himself on the floor of his bedroom, having fallen onto his injured arm. Afterward, he assumes he simply had a nightmare and fell off his bed, hurting his arm in the process.

If I has a nickel for every time I read a twenty-something chapter superhuman au fic where one of the untagged characters was actually from a piece of fiction separate from the fic's actual source material - a of piece which exists in the world of the fic, and is not the bible nor ever considered nonfiction in any way - and that character was also apparently a demon who had lived for a very long time and had experience pulling strings from behind the scenes, but was nothing but a regular human in their source material or even the source material of the fic,

Fuck I keep forgetting to post anything

Okay so like a day ago I realized I actually really like hello neighbor's artstyle and way of portraying memories through all those really trippy nightmare sequences. And then I realized a good chunk of my inspiration comes from said artstyle and nightmare sequences. And now I want to draw more horror stuff but I keep getting reminded that my own artstyle was trained on camp camp and warrior cats so that's not happening anytime soon.

Anyway I have not continued animating anything since classes started ._. Or written anything either. It's actually just been south park doodles and that's it. I blame myself for watching the whole series in under two months. But I've binged other things and didn't become obsessed with them. Yall didn't see me drawing dp or teen titans fanart after i watched those. I don't know why sp suddenly has me in a chokehold.

Normally I'd go back to watching warrior cats maps to get myself back in the animation mood but i haven't read Star yet so i can't look at anything warriors until i do.

Still considering posting a doodle dump at some point. Maybe for my birthday. Or I'll post that unfinished Curse animatic I abandoned back in June because my designs had changed. I'm fairy certain I won't continue it so I'll post the unfinished thing,, eventually.

also here's the shitpost i mentioned. because of this i'm starting a new challenge where i make the singular most cursed mcyt family tree i can, the only rules being no non-canon ships and can only include headcanons i've actually seen before. i look forward to somehow connecting the empires chart to dantdm. getting to dan surprisingly won't be the hard part, i've seen people headcanon him as tommy's dad. somehow the issue will be connecting the xornoth-scott-jimmy-lizzie-joel-hermes-sausage tree to the rest of it. this all goes in small text because i'm mildly ashamed.

What was Nevin doing to try to save Drew? Is he okay after some of his branches got crushed in the fight? Will he ever manage to come back or is Nevin just deep in denial?

Overall I really like your au, and I’m happy to see you again too! Your monthly posts are always nice.

I don't know what warnings to do this time so I'm just gonna say that if you couldn't read the fic thing, do not proceed. Also because spoilers ig.

First I'd like to reiterate that the second part of that fic thing was very experimental. So nothing about that is certain whatsoever and I was mostly just going for vibes for it, to test out the potential bad ending that I really want to make work somehow. So I can give you some hypothetical answers, but unless I can successfully make most of the other events in that ending not horribly out-of-character, that ending might not even be real. The entire bad ending is based on this one bit of animation I have in my head and am very slowly drawing out. I'm hoping if I can show how cool it looks I won't have to justify the character actions /hj. I also just do not have any ideas for another ending so I am desperately trying to make 'twist' villain Isaac Beamer somehow work. That's most of the reason that I'm focusing so hard on curses and such right now; getting the essentials done will make writing the story a little easier. Maybe when I finally have a curse for Dez (I'm accepting suggestions; Echos and I have nothing), I'll magically have a whole new ending thought up.

Anyway, hypothetically, Drew's probably fine after the fight. It was painful, yeah, but the branches will grow back.

Now I'll move onto the things centered around the first half, since that one's a little more final.

Drew probably can't come back? I mean, it could be cool if there's some kind of ritual to move his consciousness somewhere else, but his body's irreparable.

You didn't ask but I'll also add that he and the branches can be killed, via burning or something like that, but Nevin's not likely to let that happen.

Nevin is very deep in denial, and for the most part doesn't have any ideas other than praying and such. He refuses to move on from Drew's loss for a few reasons. First of all, of course, Drew's his twin brother. Secondly, ever since the incident, his life has basically entirely centered around it. The incident is what made him turn to religion (and just so he can keep the extra bit of trauma, in place of his step-mom we'll say the first couple churches weren't exactly kind about his curse - or his being gay, for that matter), and religion is obviously why he thinks the branches are a miracle keeping Drew alive. The incident is why he became homeschooled and rarely left his house for so much of his life, and started hyper-focusing on Drew instead of making connections or getting hobbies. Speaking of hobbies, his curse in general also made it difficult to start any of those. Most of his life has just been getting control of his powers, religious stuff, thinking about Drew, repeat (though Grandma Jovel was eventually successful in getting him interested in cooking and spoken poetry). So he can't fathom the idea of letting Drew go.

When he meets Chris, Nevin gets really excited about the possibility that Chris or Charlie could communicate with Drew, and from there they could work something out. So Nevin starts hanging around Chris, invites him over, and you've seen the rest. Info-dumping about Drew was basically Nevin trying to get Chris to see why this is so important. He could just say "he's my baby brother and i love him and you should love him too", but in true writer fashion, he takes the "show, don't tell" route.

So, yeah, that's basically the closest thing Nevin has had to a plan. I mean, now that I brought up the idea of there being some sort of demonic ritual to transfer souls or whatever, it could be cool to have Nevin go against his morals and try demony stuff, but then I'd have to add so many more eggpire fansongs onto my curse!ibvs playlist. I've already got five, I don't think I should go any deeper.
