so ever since october 2023 my account has been "shadowbanned"* because i briefly used a vpn after my isp blocked my access to tumblr (for reasons?), and since then ive not come up when searched** nor has my posts been showing up on people's dash (from what my friends told me)

i cant even view dm's, asks/inbox, or leave comments under other people's posts or even delete side blogs***, its actually been really infuriating lmao

ive tried contacting support a dozen times, spaced them out between months just in case one ticket gets responded to, but seeing as its nearly been 2 years... no dice man

it really sucks that im gonna stop posting on here eventually because before this account ive essentially built my childhood here, like i saved SCREENSHOTS of that dumbass "WHOVIANS, PREPARE YOUR TARDISES" reblog chain😭

but i'll have to stop using this account slowly because i guess tumblr is really just that janky and there doesnt seem to be a solution i can reliably depend on

p.s. i wont be deleting my account JUST IN CASE my issue gets magically resolved (and also for archive purposes) but also read point *** for why i cant technically delete it anyway

** searching up "csyk00" does not yield the normal search results like when searching for a user

*** i have a furry side blog @csykat that i stopped using and transferred the posts of here since i wanted to have one centralised account, and i cant even delete it because tumblr wont process it🥹not sure if this has anything to do with my issue but i think its highly likely
