I accidentally just found out, that I have a number of finished works. I thought I still have around 2 though 😁

So I thought I’d do a kind of portfolio post.

Yesterday sketched Suga’s portrait from NBA photos. Love the way they are unblurred and you can see the real textures of the face. Beautiful dad 😌❤️

Yesterday started drawing Shinji. WITHOUT ANY REFERENCE (that’s important).

And for some reason when I finished, I realized he had a 100% Park Jimin profile 😂😂

I saved version but needed redraw. So I glanced some NGE reference AND NOW BECAME HYENING KAI 😭😂😂😭

They say for a good start you need a good sleep. Which is probably why I have a whole plant of ideas after I slept for 8 hours straight.

Yesterday I started Suguru Geto. And today I had a beautiful picture in my head on NGE Shinji.

And so it goes.

Unfortunately due to irresistible life circumstances I had to postpone any art for almost a year.

Doesn’t mean I don’t have any ideas though. Circumstances are to end in a year or so. During this time I try to fix all cool ideas I have in any sort of a draft, so that I could return and finish them when I can.

Here are some of them.

Also, when I have some free self time I try to continue my Arlong park redraw cover. But it’s a massive piece and take enormous amount of time. Yet, I do what I can haha

Hi! I’m still alive, though I’m not here a lot.

My career is a train on rails that lost its brakes, but you still enjoy the ride.

I’ve also had some health conditions, and it’s okay now, but I haven’t been able to draw all year at all.

Yet I’m not giving up! And recently I’ve been able to draw a little.

Here’s my renewed #Arlong I loved so much. I’ve started to redraw this one piece manga cover last year but I wasn’t quite satisfied with my drawing when I opened it last week. So I redrew him nearly from the start.

The eyes and the smile now are much more like him.

I also added general arlong palette: blue, violet and green — for the ocean and the fishmen, yellow to color of fear, sand and also soft light and red for blood.

The eye! I love it myself now!

Aaand I have also sketched a new thing I had in mind for a few years now: my Hunter x Hunter favourite man: Chrollo Lucifer!

So I’m eager to finish one piece redraw ASAP to start HIM

I’ve been redoing this face expression for a week now. It’s like… 16-th version of it.

I’m having a near art death experience of a kind.

But AAAAA I’LL DO IT AGAIN AND AGAIN UNTILL I’M SATISFIED

Still lots of work and adjustment needed, but I’ve made a sketch of Luffy’s body and I’m like YAAAAY

I’ve found my absolution in drawing without line. I do the main color the way I see it and then make a form out of it.

Interesting fact is that I my drawing’s way better that way. Both the light/shade balance and the anatomy/structure. When I first draw a line it’s harder for me to do the right form with color then.
