in regards to nekopara after, I want to talk about how brave Sayori was to make this considering she has to know about her huge overseas audience. obviously, the themes in this game compared to the others are going to be a bit more taboo with shigure scenes (even if the other games implied something between shigure and kashou, they never got into.. well, shigure/kashou stuff that actually showed what was happening) and fraise being, at least in my opinion the youngest appearing catgirl next to azuki

overseas we seem to be much more upset about younger looking characters, in Japan it’s pretty normalized. however, like I had mentioned, the overseas audience for nekopara has continued to grow and grow, and has already received backlash for the catgirl ages drama and characters looking young. it makes me happy that instead of toning stuff down in order to appease the foreign fans (and of course some Japanese fans, but a small number in comparison) Sayori just turned it up a notch. really really looking forward to playing the game to see how much she hammers in these themes, but considering the h scenes and other cgs that were dropped I am pretty positive we will be getting a plethora of this stuff!
