He gets into trouble at runway shows because people love filming his confused reactions to more abstract pieces in a collection.

“Who wears this stuff? You can’t even sit down in that!” he would say during the drive home, while you tried (yet again) to explain that there’s a difference between runway fashion and everyday clothes.

When you first started dating you tried to convince him to stop wearing those god-awful skinny jeans but he wouldn’t budge, saying that he doesn’t care what people think and would just rather wear something simple. But over time he gave in and let you pick out some designer looks for him.

So, when he showed up one race weekend dressed in the latest Dior collection, Charles and Lewis came up to him asking if he was okay, because they genuinely could not believe their eyes. His team were staring at him with actual concern because they have never seen Max put that much effort into his appearance. He made sure everyone who asked about the sudden change would hear your name being credited for his new look.
