Day 7: Formalwear

Worm notes: FORMALWEAR!!!! Rex looks goddamn good in a suit and I’m like 🥴 bout it. Vic made the playlist ofc. sorry about his bolo tie and cowboy boots he is a Florida man

Probably the only happy formal occasion Rex has ever worn a suit in. They both look fantastic in formalwear.

Day 6: Species Swap

Worm notes: yaaaay lore dumpy yaaaay so Vic is, of course, a wolf shifter just like Rex, but specifically a maned wolf :3 he is legs as fuck :3 Chanel boots animal :3 and this is what he would’ve looked like if he didn’t get chrome after his injury :’) no tattoos which is WILD. still gotta have the toof bling tho. speaking of which if you’ll excuse me i need several minutes alone with chromeRex and HIS teef, I love how shifter Vic looks like your average durfer dude. I half expect him to just pick up a surfboard and rush to catch waves. Meanwhile Rex is on a well deserved break between his shifts at Private Security R Us.

Day 5: Inside

Worm notes: Rex’s kigurumi DOES have a butt flap and Vic IS opening that thang. and yes his matches his snacks. it was a promotional item. also note the blinkies <3

Staying in for a lazy sunday morning in their household means pajamas all day, lazy smoking and videogames. The matching kigus were Vic's idea, of course.

Day 4: Cosplay

Worm notes: Vic is screaming internally watching Rex massacre his shirt and stretch the bejeezus outta his expensive designer undies and trying to be pressed about it but also hhhhehehehee Rexposed skin….. also Rex with the grills and the eyebrow cut is doing #things to me personally. SORRY.

Something about these two idiots' ideas of "cosplay" being "dressing up as each other" wouldn't really fly during Halloween, I fear.

Day 3: Stage

Worm notes: The bassist and the lead singer of thunderous southern gothic grindcore outfit MUTT were spotted getting a little too close backstage once again

Watch the milky smoke swirl upwards and imagine it does the same to your lungs. Put it out and wipe the smears of makeup before you take the stage. The show must go on.

Day 2: Historical

Worm notes: 1930s mobster boys in NEW YAWK CITY thanks to @whump-card's Starlight Hotel AU! Rex gets the John Dillinger cut and Vic lowkey turned into Gomez Addams I fuckin guess

The Starlight Hotel is the place for all sorts of folks. So long as they pay their protection fees on time and remain loyal, Dominik turns a blind eye to whatever eccentricities happen at the place.

Day 1: Original vs Current Design

Worm notes: I think it's very sneet how both of these characters started as RPG characters (Rex for Cyberpunk RED, Vic for Glitterhearts) and then took on lives of their own :3 Vic has changed preety significantly in going from 6'2 and beefy to 6'6 and lomg, and also growing out his hair, and becoming. well. a werewolf and a cyborg, as opposed to a human college student, BUT he remains a) from Miami and b) hopelessly addicted to nicotine and c) knee injuries georg.

Putting both Rexes side by side like this really shows just how much more jaded he got in canon, vs who he was in-game. So much growth! He used to be a lot more overtly sweet and now he's just. VERY intimidating.

Cheating for the five sentence prompt game and borrowing @cyberwhumper's Rex again! Dog with a (broken) bone. Contains: Broken bone (Leg), Torture, Interrogation, Begging "Who's your captain?" Rex's boot pressed down further, straining the bone beneath it as he pressed his weight forward. Panic drew air into Miguel's lungs, and his voice came out in a ragged whisper: "Please--god, please don't…!" Rex's lip curled into a snarl, and he lifted his heel momentarily only to slam it back down. Miguel's vision exploded into white, and again the world around him danced.

Thank you @cyberwhumper for letting me borrow your horrifying man. I love him. Contains: Implied broken bones, interrogation, torture -- "Hey! Hey, I need you to breathe." It was a command, devoid of any warmth or concern as the heel of Rex's boot settled on his good leg. Miguel fought to clear his vision, barely able to make out the massive shape of the man above him. Miguel couldn't speak, he just took a ragged gasp for air that didn't quite fill his lungs. "Breathe, you still have more to tell me."
