hey yall! cyrus here. so, as you can tell, i haven't been posting on here in awhile. that's because my personal life has taken a wild turn in the past two years. i was hospitalized back in april for some mental health issues, my family has been struggling with a loss, i am doing more outside of social media in general, and honestly, i just haven't had a lot of time to come on tumblr except to scroll for a bit then leave. and i apologize, but that's most likely how it's going to be for awhile. i just started my third year of college, and i'm getting ready to graduate next year. this blog will not be deleted, as i don't want to make my works harder to access. however, i will not be answering asks/taking requests for the time being. i ask that you please don't spam my inbox or message me on my other blog about writing. i love ninjago, don't get me wrong, but i have also been getting into other interests and i find it difficult to push myself to actually write. i don't want to force myself to write because then it will just be rushed and not good for either parties. i encourage y'all to go out and start your own works and blogs if you want more content, as that is exactly what i did! thank you all so much for the support, and if you'd like to follow me on my main blog where i occasionally post, it's @legosbian :)

- they’ve always been there for each other. they have an incredible sibling bond

- fuck it. projection time. garm used to get incredibly overstimulated as a child/teenager (he still does, but he’s learned how to handle those situations better than how he was) and wu always took notice. he always had ear protection for him, sunglasses, and something for him to fidget with.

- wu got nightmares sometimes as a kid, and garm would always be there the second he heard wu sit up gasping. he’d bring him some tea, and they’d sit together. garm would ask wu if he wanted to talk about it. sometimes wu would say yes, and garm would listen. sometimes wu would say no, and garm respected that boundary. they’d sit together until wu felt better enough to go to sleep

- alr just because they take care of each other doesn’t mean they don’t have their fun. i mean, they are brothers after all. so, of course, we have to expect that sibling rivalry.

- small pranks would occur. such as garm sometimes making sure wu took the broken staff during their spar, and easily being able to defeat him. or that time wu accidentally let slip an incredibly embarrassing secret about garm in front of misako.

- or the little quips they’d throw at each other, not-so-harsh venom in every word

- garm would be freaking out over his bite. he was terrified of the person he’d become once the evil completely took over. and wu would say “bite, or no bite. you are still my brother” and garm would calm down a little bit

- they still continue their sibling rivalry into adulthood, as the ninja have caught them bickering back and forth about things that happened years ago

If the garmabros went to school what kind of students do you think they would be?

i feel like they’d both be incredibly intelligent students. the only difference is that people expect wu to be smart and see him as intelligent. people don’t expect garmadon to be smart, and they’re incredibly shocked he’s as intelligent as wu

Do you think the elemental alliance took wu and garm seriously when they first met them considering the fact that they looked like teens/maybe young adults at the start of the serpentine wars

hmm… i feel like a few of them didn’t, but most did. like ray and maya definitely did. they stuck by their side, and maya practically went apeshit and anyone who tried to act as though wu and garm weren’t worthy of leading the elemental alliance.

then again, i feel like tradition and shit like that was a big deal in that era of ninjago, so it would only make sense to have the sons of the fsm take on the duty of leading the elemental alliance. plus, everybody knows those two can fight and expertly take out their enemies.

Ok, hypothetically speaking, (or not) if garmadon and misako divorced, would Lloyd and maybe the others try to get him back into the dating world? Like setting up a tinder and asking random older people for their numbers 😂

lloyd wanting to stay out of it, but notices how down his dad has been since him and misako split, so he eventually gets dragged into it

bet! some of these are from personal experience, but alas, my brother and i have just a slightly larger age gap than wu and garm.

(and by slightly i mean about 11 years)

- so we all know garm is taller than wu, yeah?

- he would absolutely do the thing where he holds shit above wu’s head so he can’t grab it

- he does the older sibling thing where he just stands in the doorway of wu’s room until wu acknowledges him, then walks away

- he still does it even when they’re older

“no, no. just checking.”

- he’d tell random lies to wu like “brother, if you don’t go to bed before father returns, something will get you.”

- he mostly did that when he was on babysitting duty so he could just do his own thing without wu bothering him

Do you think sensei g would ever cut his hair? Kinda low-key hc that its like an oni thing where hair is treated like how lions treat their mane

oh yeah def! he had it pretty long before he went to train with chen. afterwards he let it grow it and cut a mullet, and then he chopped it short. sometimes he forgets to cut it and it gets hella long and fluffy so misako has to cut it for him
