I love this cosplay but there are a lot of construction issues! I think the tights need to be dip dyed black either at the top or the bottom to a dark dark green, and the bodice itself was rushed, so it didn't quite hold up as well structurally. The clear window in the middle was a huge success but it definitely needs some clear stretch bands across to make it work better. Biggest issue is that the top had to be a raw edge to have it blend seamlessly with my neck to give the big pluge illusion, but as a result the fabric is definitely trying to pull apart.

I'm thinking about possibly entering this into a competition - even if I don't win I still really want to get the chance to show off my hard work!

My main goals with my revamp:

- Attempt to make it an actual corset like the original pattern instead of a bodice. Either way the entire thing needs to be remade. I'll end up grabbing the skirt pieces off of it to reuse.

-Redo the "rolled" hems on the large petal pieces since I was having a hard time with those curves.

- Add more beads to the gloves and do a nicer job finishing all the gloves period.

- Either double - layer the stiff organza mesh or add the swimsuit straps across the middle and top to reduce stretching of the bodice/corset

- Revamp the collar so it lays correctly - my sewing mannequin isnt shaped like me at all around that area :') I may make some parts of the dress echo my tattoos, because the back of the dress is probably the part I like much more than the front, and the shape of my tattoos really work well with the dress.

- Create the Fused Shadows overcloak. I still need to do some design work for this one, but I do currently have all the materials so at least that won't be an issue.

I'll probably also revisit some of my sketches. Initially I wanted to lean more into the cosplay part but since this is meant to be more of a fashion look I ditched a lot of the color skin ideas.
