hello darling! just was wondering if you possible had any merlin recs based on alternate endings to The Sins of a Father? I’m craving some angst and What-Arthur-Could-Have-Been is haunting me. <3

My absolute favourite is The Sins of the Father (and how to right them). by @cupcakezys. Sooo well written. I’ve also recently read each is to die for his own sin by JulietRose which turned out very good as well. I’m a sucker for truthful merlin.

Day 14: Thomas [june 2 / 2023]

Thomas is a weird little guy who originally was drawn with a body similar to that of a roast chicken ^_^' I didn't much care for the old design so I gave him a bunch of feathers instead and now he's a weird little bird boy thing.

Day 13: Riley & Elliot [June 1 / 2023]

Today we have two creatures for the price of one! I don't know their relationship - are they siblings? parent and child? ¯_(ツ)_/¯ who knows?

Day 12: Gary Bean [may 31 / 2023]

Gary Bean is the second of the blobby creatures to be drawn and colored. He's kind of a sad, anxious, depressed guy which is why his gradient is this murky color - I wanted to do something a little more earthy but haven't really learned how to do gradients that well so I went with this instead.

Day 11: Wilbur [may 30 / 2023]

Wilbur is my bebbie boi, my lil guy, my tiny piglet. He takes quite a heavy inspiration from Minecraft's piglins, though I did try to change his look - if this was colored, there'd probably be different colors than what piglins have.

Day 10: Shey Bean [may 29 /2023]

Shey Bean is one of a handful of blobby creatures that is colored with gradients. She is such a sweet little gal who just wants to spread love everywhere.

Day 9: George Holland [may 28 / 2023]

George Holland is the first creature to have both a first and last name! like the past few creatures, he's a redesign from ages ago, and honestly I couldn't be happier with how he turned out.

Day 8: Dudley [may 27 / 2023]

Dudley is a little bird-like guy that might be a weird chicken. The bow was originally supposed to be on the front side of its neck but I didn't want to hide the rings. I struggled forever with the stupid feet because I wanted them to be more duck-like but eventually just settled on chicken-ish. I love my weird chicken guy.

Day 7: Lyria [may 26 / 2023]

Lyria is a cowctus - a cow cactus - and is a creature that came to me in a dream ages ago. She's a fairly young cowctus, not even close to being an adult, and she's a very sweet girl. She loves to bop heads with people even though it causes a bit of pain (because of the spikes).

Day 6: Nikiri [may 25, 2023]

Say hello to Nikiri

Nikiri is the first legit creature that isn't inspired by the default icons, and I couldn't be more happy with how she turned out. She's a little spirit kitty that loves to cause trouble for others in the form of pranks - such as hiding your keys or putting your favorite shoes in a plant pot. She thinks she's very diabolical with her pranks but really, she's more of a minor nuisance.

Day 5: Cub [may 24 / 2023]

Cub is the fifth and final(???) creature inspired from the default icons, and he is my lil bebby boi. I love him so much! I got most my inspiration for him from minecraft because mc slimes are my favorite mobs.

Day 4: Conu [may 23, 2023]

Conu is number 4 in this little series of default icon-inspired creatures, and I'm so happy with how he turned out. It took awhile to decide on his color scheme cause my brain kept saying "make him Invader Zim green with red bits", and I was like "no, I'm saving green for another creature." so we went with purple and I think it fits really well.

Day 3: Pyriti [may 22 / 2023]

Pyriti is the third of five(?) creatures that have been inspired by the default tumblr icons. this lil guy took only a few hours to complete and I couldn't be happier with the outcome.

Day 2: Fiaan [may 21 / 2023]

This is the second installment in default icon-inspired creatures and I designed her as a little faerie because she just gives me those kind of vibes (it was either faerie or design her as a Sims plumbob). I also really like the idea of little creatures with multiple eyes so I gave her all the eyes.

Day 1: Deico [may 20 / 2023]

Our first creature to be added to this blog is a refined little doodle inspired by one of the default tumblr avatars. I busted this lil boi out in about an hour (I'm very slow at drawing).
