The under the red hood final confrontation scene happened right after bludhaven blew up which means at some point during that night Bruce probably thought that there was a high likelihood that two of his sons were dead and that he was responsible for one of them. lol. LMAO even

#watchijg superboy prime vs special little boy#it slike a fight. a wrestle. keeps changing whos on top when i check#but all options. even minus multiple. does crumble superboy into dust which is nice#very fun#nothing against superboy punching the wall or the universe#(and i do find it delightful jason's death is often brought up in flashbacks w superboy prime-#-on how the universe they saved failed and didn't deserve the sacrifice the others had to bring it together. and then sb prime revived him)#but concepts like gotham. or the universe. or even death as some notes mention. taking an interest in jason somehow is so fun

These comics are very close together. Same year of release even
Joker in several different instances referring to Jason as his son or something similar
(Bonus) Joker Jr. from BtAS (Bonus since it's Tim but also technically Jason? Some strange fusion. Or whatever I've heard alot of that)

#anyway. currently thinking about how /being robin/ is what killed jason#how she didn't think to sell him out until she learned he was Robin#thats the adopted son of bruce wayne! and its the fact he was /robin/ that he became a bargaining chip instead of a son#i do wonder why she didn't try or think about it until she knew he was robin. bc um. again. son of bruce wayne?#he could've helped as a civilian too#was it a matter of not being willing to ask for money like that?#did she like. not recognize bruce i cant remember#though offering a robin would have more success with the joker than money. usually i would think#i wonder if she thought batman would make it in time#idk man. im trying to give more to a character that was written to kill him and is never really mentioned or seen again

So can we talk about in some timelines Jason is 17-18 when he becomes Red Hood? Like, that's wild. Dude can't legally drink in most of the world and is just chopping off heads. He never learned about logarithms in maths. Instead he learned how to kill people in the most effective ways.
#this kids he went to school with wouldve been in their senior year when Jason was blowing up dealers for selling to kids#Specifically mentioned. Jason's obsession with Dick and Tim is something I'm thinking about
#it feels like its stronger for Tim which is interesting#i want to put in into words but i struggle to think#hes like. desperate for connections with them. anyone really but especially them. his brothers#it feels more focused on tim to me so i personally feel Jason does feel a bit wronged by dick in a way. that attributes to him attaching to#tim more#either from dicks lack of presence when he was robin or from brothers in blood#both#god jason was SUCH a lonely robin. lonely kid#i do wonder how anything could've turned out if he got to form more meaningful connections before his end#hell sometimes i think having the right friends and suppor wouldve stopped his end entirely#but there is none#and he forms an obsession. a desperation. even if he doesn't /fully/ realize it#though he does fully admit to wanting family.#safety. but. to feel safe jason needs someone by his side. with him. and willing to kill for him. his safely. and he will too#to pick him#to push at them while wanting them to walk back instead of letting themselves be pushed away#idk. something something seeing bruce “leave” hun when he was at his “worst” as a child so automatically going to his worst when trying to#bond again so he knows for sure they wont pull away#yknow?????#idk. its 1am and i have a headache hi. also this wnet off topic from the obsession bit a bit#jason todd analysis#that is once again all in the tags. man i am so good at this
