Please remember; This is my opinion, I don't hate Johan or say your feelings aren't valid.

I love Johan, but, I never in my life saw people randomly hating on him. Like at all. I am not saying you couldn't have, I am sure you could have.

I just wish there would be some... proof? Because if it's true, I would love to stand up for Johan.

We do feel sorry for him actually, and that's the point. These people have a hard time so you feel sorry, maybe cry and get hooked to Lookism. Yes, even Johan.

He does have it hard, I will never say he doesn't. I personally think he needs someone to protect him and love him, support him during his hard times.

But, it's not like he doesn't have anyone by his side. Zack, Vasco and Daniel all consider him friends no matter how often they fight and how often Johan rejects them. He is loved, he rejects that love.

He is supposed to teach you a feeling, a story, a prospective and unconditional love.

I also don't understand why do you want him to die, rather than being blind? Blind people can live, eat, have hobbies, have fun, work on their other senses and have surgery to better their eyes if they wish. A dead person - if we take religions out of it, which I am sorry for - can't do any of that.

Him having a disability doesn't make him less, or a bother to have around.

Yes, he has a hard time. No, he doesn't deserve it.

But if you would want everyone in Lookism to die, just because their life is hard, most of the characters would be gone. Including all people relevant to the story. - No, I am not saying Johan isn't relevant. -

All of them go through a hard time because they are all supposed to teach you different things and a lot of different people with different life styles relate to different people.

I am sure he has a happy end, but Lookism is a slow burn comic. You have to be patient.

I think a lot of the fandom loves him, he is such a precious human. PTJ must love him too, but the thing is, a good writer has to be able to put their characters into hard situations to keep the plot going.

If nothing happens to Johan, his appearance is meaningless. Maybe not in a meaningful way to you, but like this his character has depth and importance. It just shows how strong he is.

So yeah, I just think it's unfair to say people hate him or that he deserves to die. He doesn't.

And no, this isn't an attack, this is my view.

At this point, I'm just waiting for the author to finish off Johan.

First, he's betrayed and everything he built fell apart so he had to start all over again. Second, he forced himself to abandon all ties with friends or family so he cannot be brought down from his goal because he'll feel responsible. Then, his mother's blindness came out in him due to genetics. And then, he was made to work for the people who drugged his mother. And now, he's going blind in both of his eyes.

Just kill him, why don't you?

I'll just sit here and cry my eyes out because I can't do anything else. It doesn't even help than some of the fandom actually hate his guts for the dumbest reasons. Most of them hide their dislike but some of them outright spill their thoughts on comments under fanfictions oe fanarts or somewhere else.

Seeing these people judging him so bad because he doesn't play up to their high standards hurts me even more.

Samuel in general is not evil, he is really nice.

He loves causing a mess around himself and making everything out to be chaotic because that's what he is used to. There was never a 'calm' period in his life. Only illegal things, so he doesn't know what to do when things are relaxed. He is a nice human, but when there is nothing he can feel stressed from he just feels weird or empty.
