People around Magnus think he is a person who doesn't care about other people opinions, who lives just for himself and that doesn't take anything seriously. No one who doesn't know him very much can truly know what's going on in his mind. No one can know how much he cares for people and how much he suffers because everyone he loves leaves him at some point, no one can know how much he doesn't want to fell alone again. Ragnor knew, his first lover knew, Camille knew, but in his mind they are all dead. Catarina knows how to read him, she knows how Magnus feels and how much he needs to make people happy just to be happy himselft, and she is alive. That thought always gets a smile on Magnus face, even if he didn't do nothing to make someone happy. Catarina, among all of the people he knew in his life, always makes Magnus smile no matter what, how or when.

Magnus loves the beach. He loves drinking cold drinks, he loves to sleep under the sun, he loves making sand castles with Max and Rafael, he loves wearing sunglasses all the day, he loves the sand and the shells. He loves everything about the beach, except the sea, because sometimes he fells like, if he would even dare to touch the water, he'll be back there, at the same place where he was more than four hundred years ago with his step father
