[Tunner perks up slightly at the sudden sound of Ciqu's voice, before easing in in relief.]

Tunner: "Aw, pardner! Yer back! Y'had us worried, y'know?"

[Ciqu glanced around him. Tunner was close to him, and he could see the scientist couple, in their pajammas, not too far behind.]

Clukr: "We were informed of a short-circuit. We came to see if you were alright."

Garnold: "Yeah...what he said."

[Ciqu takes in the sight of the three of them, his LED eyes flickering. He remembered what the code told him. What his creator told him. He looked at the three Sprunkies in the eyes, seeing the concern in their gazes.]

Ciqu: "...I..."

[If Ciqu could breathe in, he would have by now.]

Ciqu: "...I want...to be everyone's friend."

Clukr: "...p- pardon?"

Ciqu: "I scrutinized it. I know why I'm alive, and I know what I want in life now. It's you, folks. You're all why I'm alive."

Tunner: "...um..."

Ciqu: "I still have life in me. I still have a life. It's not as long as I thought it was. But it's something. And this life of mine...it was one spent with all of you. I want to continue living this life with you. And...thank you, for being present in my life in the first place."

[Ciqu approached Tunner, and though his steps were rigid, his arms were wide and open. He wrapped them around the Sprunki, holding him in a tight embrace. Tunner visibly choked.]

Tunner: "Urk- y-you're welcome...?"

Clukr: "Sheriff-!"

Tunner: "I'm fine, I-I'm fine! Just, uh...Ciq, loosen the hug, please."

Ciqu: "You're right. I need to accompany all of you."

[He extended one of his arms towards Clukr and Garnold, pulling them into the hug and thus into his tight embrace.]

Clukr: "Hrgh-!"

Garnold: "Agh- okay, I'm definitely awake now-!"

Tunner: "Ciq, not what I meant- ...you know what? Fine, you can uh...keep huggin', buddy."

Clukr: "Sheriff Tunner, it feels like a pressurizer!"

Tunner: "W-Well, it's not like we can squeeze away can we?"

Garnold: "I just want to go back to sleep..."

[Ciqu was oblivious to their discomforts. Just for this moment, he's content.]
