Astoria is a series that takes place in New York, where greek mythology is seen from a modern lens- with gods, monsters, and titans roaming under the noses of humans that don't know any better. All of them look human, more or less, though some monsters possess monstrous traits that they hide away.

Willing to roleplay with other fandoms and OCs.

Some content may be mature, and will be labelled appropriately.

Bio: A demigod born of Aphrodite, Alex works at H.E.R.A. (Hell and Earth Relations Agency) as Head of Artifacts, keeping powerful artifacts out of hands they don't belong in. At 30 years old, Alex is Aphrodite's youngest child, and the only one living close to home in New York. Alex has been in love with their childhood friend, MC, for many years.

Roleplay Example

Alex watches the scene before them unfold with a careful eye, every muscle in their body on edge and ready to move in an instant should they need to. When one of the monsters' hands whip out, they're not sure what to expect- a gun or claws that could do much worse- but they're in motion regardless. Their arm snaps out, grabbing onto their wrist and twisting it- the gun in the monster's hand dropping down to the floor.

"There's no need for that," they say, never loosening their grip. "This is supposed to be a civil conversation." They pause. "Though I'm sure you wouldn't need me to mediate if there were bars between the two of you."

The only reason these monsters weren't in cells yet was because of a favor they owed. But the moment either one brought violence on the table, they had permission to take either of them in, favor or no.

The monster sneers up at them, a hiss of pain leaving his lips when Alex pushes back on his wrist. He averts his gaze soon after, the fight going out of him. With caution, Alex releases their hold, and the monster instantly snatches his hand back, rubbing it with a wince.

"Fine. I'll hear her out."

"Good." They nod for the other monster to go ahead.

At least they're getting somewhere.
