Dear David
Sometimes I take walks when the world is just beginning to close in for the night.
The sun has just set and the moon is arise in the last fading light of the day.
When I look at the passing houses, families are having dinner under yellow artificial light.
Up in the trees that tower like crooked arms, birds moving frantically to find shelter for the night.
But what intrigues me most, is the captivating symbiotic sounds of the earth.
The noise of trains rattling, and the eerie stillness of lampposts. The almost invisible whipping of a last breeze and the ever loud crackle of dead grass.
Sometimes I take walks when the world is beginning to close. When I realise where I am, it doesn't seem like the world I know at all. It's beauty and terror is surreal.

Dear David,
So many times before I have sacrificed
The inner workings of my mind to another
So many times I have trusted
And been disappointed
However,
There are a few times
A few glimpses of golden moments
Where I have thought that I have found my other
And that is you.
And that is why I give my eternal thanks

Dear David,
I don't mind finalties
Being the dissentiate I am,
But I'm realizing there's a certain
Security to normcore
We hate people because
We care for them...
... Too much...
... And expressing such
Would be exposing ourselves
To wreckage
And heartaches

Dear David
Roaring waves are a surprising
Comfort to the the tumultuous
Range of feelings inside.
People question why
Women drown themselves at sea
But never ask why the waves
Are such a comfort to behold.

If I was desperate enough...
Or depressed enough...
Either is warranted

The Rout at Mount Mejlna by Ila Draka’kriin
Once in a land ruled by children and men, stood the proud body of Mount Mejlna. Her snowy belly and icy claws lured many adventurers to her top but few achieved their goal. The challenge was this: who would claim her first.
On a snowy day not unlike others, the IceMan and the FireBird met at Mejlna’s feet. “A race!” said IceMan daring the FireBird. “Don’t be a fool” she replied, “You are big and hairy and slow, and I am a FireBird.” The IceMan chuckled for he had a secret. He had lived for many years in the bosom of the mountain and knew her curves well. He also knew that the FireBird would heat the ice and melt her foothold, slipping to an easy defeat. “Are you afraid of the challenge FireBird?” teased the IceMan. “Never” fumed the FireBird. “Well then…” said the IceMan and off he sprung, leaping upon the legs of Mount Mejlna. The FireBird quickly followed.
The IceMan and FireBird hacked their way up Mejlna’s thighs, the IceMan sure that soon he would gain the upper hand and also the victory. But the FireBird was cunning and quick. Before the IceMan could think, she spread her wings and soared three folds above her challenger turning snow to sludge. Up, up, up she soared melting the ice off of Mejlna. The poor IceMan, caught in the sludge, began to stumble and slip and until he slid to the very soles of Mount Mejlna’s feet. “Wait Fire Bird! Wait for me!” roared the IceMan but the FireBird laughed and chuckled until she reached the crown top of Mejlna. The IceMan, finally defeated, sank into a little ball of fluff, sulking like the many child rulers of the land. Looking down at her challenger the FireBird felt gleeful. “Silly IceMan”, she thought, “that should teach him a lesson.”

Do not urge me to leave you or turn back from following you; for where you go, I will go, and where you lodge, I will lodge. Your people shall be my people, and your gods, shall be my gods. Where you die, I will die, and there I will be buried.

So that's how we live our lives. No matter how deep and fatal the loss, no matter how important the thing that's stolen from us - that's snatched right out of our hands - even if we are left completely changed people with only the outer layer of skin from before, we continue to play out our lives this way, in silence. We draw ever nearer to our allotted span of time, bidding it farewell as it trails off behind. Repeating, often adroitly, the endless deeds of the everyday. Leaving behind a feeling of immeasurable emptiness.

In your place, if there is pain, nurse it. And if there is a flame, don't snuff it out. Don't be brutal with it. We rip out so much of ourselves to be cured of things faster, that we go bankrupt by the age of thirty and have less to offer each time we start with someone new. But to make yourself feel nothing so as to not feel anything...what a waste.

The Things That Cause A Quiet Life
My friend, the things that do attain The happy life be these, I find: The riches left, not got with pain, The fruitful ground; the quiet mind; The equal friend; no grudge, no strife; No charge of rule nor governance; Without disease the healthy life; The household of continuance; The mean diet, no dainty fare; True wisdom joined with simpleness; The night discharged of all care, Where wine the wit may not oppress; The faithful wife, without debate; Such sleeps as may beguile the night: Content thyself with thine estate, Neither wish death, nor fear his might.

Dear David
David’s diction [Communication - unspoken words brought to light]
Just let me know you.
Even if it is the mundane, normal things.
The more the better, just please, let me know how your life has been.
