Honestly forget rotating just one blorbo like a rotisserie chicken my brain is one of those markets where it's twelve birds per spit and there's about six spits and they are rotating my various Silly Little Guys all at once.

one of the contrasts i really love about dirk and toss is the dissonance between the images they project and their philosophy. todd speaks with harshness and negativity (particularly toward himself), but his actions show a battle hardened tendency toward optimism lurking beneath the asshole. he buys into dirk’s holisticness whole-heartedly once it has results. his immediate instinct in the time loop is to “fix everything,” and he takes all the signs of the loop being inevitable as indications that this is a viable possibility. he chases down a rabbit for hours because it COULD be dirk. dirk, for all his yellow jackets and upbeat demeanor, is more inclined toward pessimism. he accepts death in the lightbulb portion of the death maze. he’s genuinely shocked when todd returns after their falling out in s1. he flat out gives up MULTIPLE times in s2. it’s the difference between putting up a more closed-off shield because you so desperately want to believe things can get better that you don’t want the negativity to be able to touch you and playing up a facade of positivity you know things are inevitably going to get worse, so you might as well reel in what good you can before it all goes up in smoke. it’s the difference between living trapped a hole you accidentally dug yourself into, and that you therefore know subconsciously there is a way out of, and being unceremoniously shoved into a grave blackwing dug for you. it’s why they work so well together — they see through each other’s bullshit, because they’re both bullshitting in the opposite direction.

"There was an exchange on Twitter a while back where someone said, ‘What is artificial intelligence?' And someone else said, 'A poor choice of words in 1954'," he says. "And, you know, they’re right. I think that if we had chosen a different phrase for it, back in the '50s, we might have avoided a lot of the confusion that we're having now." So if he had to invent a term, what would it be? His answer is instant: applied statistics. "It's genuinely amazing that...these sorts of things can be extracted from a statistical analysis of a large body of text," he says. But, in his view, that doesn't make the tools intelligent. Applied statistics is a far more precise descriptor, "but no one wants to use that term, because it's not as sexy".

People used to comment on web comics.
People used to comment on fanfiction.
People used to comment on fanart.
People used to comment on OCs.
I hate "content" culture.
I hate "consuming content" and scrolling immediately to the next thing.
People used to be excited about the art that other people created.
People used to want to share that excitement with creators.
I hate this future.

I think I finished all the frames for that animatic? Is it a win? We will see if I manage to collect myself to put it all together. One final step…
