I hiked 8 miles today, on a trail I’ve never been on, by myself. I talked to strangers on the trail, I let the sun burn my skin without a care and I ate an apple at the summit, the juice making my hands sticky and all I could think or feel was gratitude and self respect for the trust I’m rebuilding with myself.

I finally got a library card and I’ve been listening to audiobooks incessantly, I finished listening to The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo last night and now I’m listening to The Girl Who Played With Fire and I decided to order the trilogy off Mercari in hardbacks so I can have my own physical copies. I also ordered some staples of queer literature and I can’t wait to get into those, my goodreads is going crazy right now.
