Yall I need help finding a fic. It was pre 6x18 so it was a spec fic where Buck and eddie got separated from the team on the bridge by an earthquake. Buck was concussed but conscious and eddie was trapped underneath a concrete slab that was slowly crushing him. Buck tried to find a piece of rebar to lever the concrete off of him but eddie told him not to because it would pin his broken left arm onto the floor. I never finished it and this is the best I can remember so if any one knows what I'm talking about please help a girl out. I do know that it was posted sometime in late April/early May.

Because every day after he woke up still in pain, and he couldn’t even tell his own family (because what if I can’t be a firefighter anymore? what if they don’t let me?). And then he’s hugging Eddie and they’re welcoming him home and maybe, just maybe, for a second he believes that it won’t be so bad.

Because then he was choking on his own blood staring into Bobby’s eyes thinking this is it, isn’t it? And then he woke up because damn, he always wakes up and somehow that’s always worse. And he wants to laugh at himself because how did he think, even for a moment, that anything would ever be ok?

Because then he was on blood thinners and they wouldn’t let him home, and he just wanted to go home (what if I can’t be a firefighter anymore?)

Because then the lawsuit happened and he just lost everything all over again.

After the Ambulance - 4K words; Rated General Audiences:  Buck and Eddie return to the station after the ambulance explosion. Buck cooks for Eddie and they have their first of many real conversations as trusted partners.

After the Earthquake- 6K words; Rated General Audiences:  Buck drives Eddie to pick up Christopher from school, he then drives them home and Eddie’s heart is full of warmth when he sees his boys together for the first time.  Also, Maddie realizes that Buck is falling in love.

After Getting Stuck - 8.6K words; Rated General Audiences:  Buck drives Eddie to the hospital after Eddie’s abuela breaks her hip. Buck meets Eddie’s aunt Pepa and he starts to organize everything to help Eddie get permanent childcare for Christopher.

Buckley-Diaz Forever - 3.1K Words; Rated Teen and Up Audiences:   After a long and busy day, Eddie says something to Buck that takes his breath away.

1 Buckley + 2 Diazes = Buckley-Diaz Family - 8.4K Words; Rated: Teen and Up Audiences:  Buck, Eddie and Chris go to Las Vegas, NV for the weekend and on day 2, they will complete their family’s equation.

Mr. & Mr. Buckley-Diaz - 14.2K Words; Rated: Teen and Up Audiences:   Buck and Eddie tell their found and biological families they got married. Their happy and exciting news is met with both love and chaos.

Their Firsts, At Last Series

32K Words; Currently 3 completed works: A multi-part fanfic series about the romantic “firsts” Buck and Eddie share as they journey through life in an established relationship and their lives as a couple will include some of Buck’s individual “firsts” too. It’s filled with the FANON love, romance, fluff and domesticity their relationship should have been allowed to experience in CANON.  The second part of the series title was adapted from the song “At Last” by Etta James.

This series of FANON future speculation fanfics is being written on a continuous timeline that begins with the start of season 7 (if it were to start in September 2023). Each part ends at a specific point in Buck and Eddie’s relationship so the next part can begin with the ending of the previous part. Therefore, parts 1 and 2 should be read prior to reading part 3 and the series will continue in that manner until it’s complete.

First Love Confession - 8.2K Words; Rated: General Audiences: Buck and Eddie share their first real and meaningful love confession.
