NOIR is an illustration-heavy Death Note fanzine revolving around the sleek fashion aesthetics and darker themes and elements of this beloved classic animanga franchise. The NOIR zine will feature mesmerizing works of 36 contributors, and will include over 70 pages of incredible art, works of short fiction, and some fantastic merch! Shop Here

Thank you! Being as transparent as possible was one of our main goals when we started this entire thing (a lack of transparency has always turned me off from participating in and purchasing or regretting purchasing other fan projects so it was at the very front of my radar!).

After months of hard work and generosity from our curators, artists, authors, translators, coders, customers, and hundreds of Death Note fans, we’re thrilled to report that our humble project has officially raised and donated $1,045.03 to the International Rescue Committee! All of the financial information related to this project including product suppliers and receipts can be found in our Financial Document. All financials and receipts are in USD. Please feel free to browse through it and contact us with any questions or concerns!

The Lovers

One of the two cards I’ve made for @deathnotetarot

A little description: 

The Lovers’ card is the card of the choices. It warns you that you have to make a choice that will condition your future, in a negative or positive way. For sure this card is also - but not only - related with romantic relashionships, because being with a person, loving that person means that you have choose them, and this is what Soichiro and Sachiko have done.

One of the two cards i’ve made for @deathnotetarot

A little description: 

The key words for the page of sword are “authority, supervision, intelligence, vigilance, espionage, control”, qualities that for sure belong to Naomi, but I’ve also decided to add a little reference to Beyond (the shadow behind Naomi), because the card turned upside down change its meaning: represents a violent, unstable, aggressive and vindictive person; a bad subject, who lives on the edge of legality, a dangerous rival and I personally think that this description fits B quite well.
