Jinx

Faction: None (Ex-Decepticon)

Alt Mode: 1994 Pontiac Firebird

Height: 23 ft

Gender: Female

Sexuality: Bisexual

Personality: Quiet, shy, scared. She’s got a lot she’s hiding from and it makes her prefer to just fade into the background

Abilities/Weapons: Skilled with most melee and a few ranged weapons. She’s also an outlier who can knock bots into stasis with her voice.

Series: IDW (Mtmte/LL)

Theme Song: Sleep - My Chemical Romance

- This is my most tragic character! (Your happy ending will come, Jinx, I’m SORRY!!)

- Her plating colors and paint let her easily blend into the shadows and go unnoticed.

- Her outlier ability works when she sings a certain way to match the spark frequency of the bot she wants to put to sleep. At first she didn’t know she could kill with this ability, and then she accidentally did.

- She hides the fact that she used to be a Decepticon, and even more what she DID as a Decepticon.

- She has a twin brother. He can also kill with his voice.

Brief storyline:

Uhhhhh, I’m not sure if I want to put a story summary here because I’m actually writing her story and hopefully I’ll post it when it’s done. But idk when that’ll happen so…. Here. Have a little teaser something.

Jinx is yet another addition to the mysteries of the Lost Light. She was practically dragged on board by her best friend, Oracle, who is the only one who seems to know anything about her. Many theorize she used to be a Decepticon, and is now in hiding.

She’s quiet, and keeps to herself, but a peek past her walls reveals someone powerful, but scared. She’s keeping in centuries of trauma, and hiding from a past she knows will catch up eventually. And when the family she left does catch up, it’s sure to result in death.

(This last drawing is not by me, but a commission from the magnificent @BlitzyBlitzwing They did a beautiful job and I still get emotional whenever I look at it)

Alright, here’s one of my ocs!

Reverb

Faction: Neutral

Alt Mode: Boombox

Height: 5’6” (She’s a minicon)

Gender: Female

Sexuality: Pan/Poly

Personality: Fun loving and cheerful, but often reckless and tends to dive into bad ideas headfirst

Abilities/Weapons: Really loud sounds and a bass blast similar to Soundwave’s abilities

Series: TFA

Theme Song: Brighter - Patent Pending (yes, I give my characters theme songs)

Her voice is actually two voices layered on top of each other, when she’s under stress they desynchronize and sound like she has an echo.

Unironically enjoys the most obnoxious of Earth’s pop songs and sings them, often to the annoyance of others.

She can play music both out loud through her speakers, and on an internal stereo so only she can hear

The shiny circle on her chest is a fake badge that can display either Autobot or Decepticon insignia depending on the situation. (She got it from Swindle)

Brief Storyline:

Reverb was a Decepticon protoform that disappeared and remained neutral for the war. Afterwards, she wound up working with a certain Autobot repair crew, and ended up on Earth. The Decepticons tried to get her back on several occasions, but she refused each time.

Eventually a certain smooth talking weapons dealer was sent to go convince her, which backfired tremendously and she would later end up leaving the planet with him when the Elite Guard captured him, and then disappearing into space with him.

She would return to Earth shortly before the TFA finale, having lost track of Swindle. She returned to Cybertron with the others, and later would meet another neutral-ish bounty hunter who also had a voice she enjoyed.

Anyway, Lockdown was able to reunite her with Swindle, and currently Reverb is trying to write songs as she lives and works with her partners (in crime).
