"Ehh," Bulk tips one shoulder up in a shrug. "Dunno. Just said he wasn't gonna be back in time." It's not like the green bot minds - plenty of room in his interior when he transforms, after all.
After a moment, Bulkhead adds, "Course, might be I just pick up Raf, if Miko gets detention again..."
"Uhh, Arcee? You gonna pick up Jack from school, or am I getting all the kids today?"
@deconstructionbot
Arcee looked up at Bulkhead from where she stood at the console, tapping in her report for her patrol when he spoke up. It took her a moment to think about it, checking with her internal chronometer with what time it was before giving him a small dismissive wave.
"I've got Jack today." She paused, having looked back at the console for a moment before turning back to him with a raised brow ridge, "Wait, does that mean you'll be getting Miko and Raf? What's Bee up to?"

"I mean, it doesn't hurt," Bulkhead quietly mutters, shuffling closer and easing himself down. "Just, uh. Kinda pinches." And keeps distracting him, with the sound of constantly rustling leaves.
"So... I was being careful, icy roads and all. But then Bee and Cliff started daring each other to see who could drive faster and flashier over the snow, and then they dragged me into it, and uh. Might have been paying a little less attention to my sensors than I should've, 'cause I didn't quite make a turn in time. Rolled off the shoulder of the road and sort of, well, slammed into this thing roof first at an angle."
How the tree got so tightly jammed into his railings, Bulk couldn't explain, because he didn't have the first fragging clue. The two scouts weren't any use either, both of them parked on the road and just about dying from laughter at his spectacular wipeout - at least until Arcee rolled up and demanded to know what happened.
Nothing for it, then.
Wincing, less from pain and more in advance of the lecture he knows he's about to get, Bulkhead eases himself into plain sight.
There's a tree sticking up over one shoulder.
"Before you say anything," the green bot announces, holding up both hands in a gesture of surrender, "It was not my fault." Shuffling, he turns around so Ratchet can see the thin, badly mangled trunk, with various branches and leaves still mostly attached, caught and wedged through the railings that sit around his upper tires.
Technically! Not injured! Other than a few scrapes, anyway. But the sapling is still causing an uncomfortable pinch, and he uh. Can't. Can't really get it out, by himself. And trying to ask the others to help was a no-go, Arcee insisted he needed their team medic and yelled at the others not to make things worse.
So.
Time to face the music. And not the fun, speed metal kind, either.

"Uhhh, Ratchet?" There's a sheepish Bulkhead peering around the corner, very obviously trying to keep most of his frame out of sight. "Got a small problem here. Tiny, I mean. Can definitely wait until later, if you're busy."
Audials perk slightly at hearing his name, before his frame turns and optics focus on Bulkhead, both listening and studying his behavior. It is almost humorous for someone with his burly frame to be attempting to hide... And the medic is always busy, so he's going to ignore that last bit.
"... Small or not, I'm sure it could become a bigger issue if I do not deal with it now. Hwat's wrong?"

"I can build stuff, and I can break stuff."
Transformers Prime Roleplay sideblog for Bulkhead, follows back from @cliff-and-the-kid, where I keep my Rules and such
Brief Tags: Behind the Curtain (Mun talking) For the Scrapbook (posts I want to hang onto) Image Captures (art, visual media, mun draws, etc) Wrecking Days (anything pre-canon) New Team (Bulk during the show and movie) Build it Better (anything post-canon) Speed Metal (NPC Miko Nakadai)
For the most part I expect to write Bulkhead as if he's still on the Team Prime, stationed on Earth, in the midst of Plot Things going on, but definitely don't mind pre- or post-canon threads if that's where other muses are operating from. Miko may appear from time to time.
I am putting him in the same AU as my main blog, though, where Cliffjumper lived and picked up Sierra as his human charge, so don't be surprised if Bulk refers to four kids or an extra scout running around.
"Did you know about this?" -Arcee "No! ...maybe. Little bit?" -Bulk

(I make ONE remark about my long time consideration of making a Bulkhead blog, a single friend immediately throws the Palpatine DO IT meme at me, and here we are)
