TW: Mentions of animal abuse, animal death and Harry Potter
Today I learned that as part of the curriculum for Transfiguration, McGonagall makes the students kill animals.

And I…I just have no words. This actually broke me.
Cats are my favorite animals. They're so adorable and loving. How anyone could hurt them is beyond me. And this sick, evil woman decides to have murdering them and other animals be part of the curriculum for her fictional class.
I know that's far from the worst thing about Harry Potter. But it genuinely fucked me up.
