for the portrayal meme… i am definitely intrigued by your depiction. as an ex catholic *shackles broken meme* i really do believe you’re nailing the intricacies of lucifer’s role in the bible while also making it a lot more palatable to people not that into religion. i think that’s very impressive in itself. anyway keep up the good work ♥️

lucifer has been noted to be the father ( creator ) of all supernatural beings . they claim his blood flows through their veins , and that is why they are viewed as abominations . it's always easier to believe that to be so , isn't it ? that lucifer is the sole reason vampires , werewolves , ghosts and the like exist .

there is some truth to it , however . lucifer is the reason some supernatural beings and creatures exist . demons , hellhounds , warlocks , witches & fae are all created by him . all of them have small amounts of his blood in their veins which warrants their magical abilities . as for the rest , the truth of it is , they were created by god . something had gone wrong with them and because of that . . . he had rejected them . these were not the divine creations that he had intended , they were mistakes . unlike his father , he refused to abandon them . if he is ever asked , he answers yes , he is the reason these beings and creatures exist . it is better than having it be known that their true creator had abandoned them for being imperfect . . . much like him .

the best way to tell them apart is by their eyes . remember : two eyes normal is when lucifer is in full control , satan is not present . two eyes white is when satan is in full control , lucifer is not present . one eye normal & one eye white is when lucifer has overpowered satan , both are present .

there are seven princes of hell , each prince aligns with a cardinal sin ; lucifer ( pride ) , beelzebub ( gluttony ) , asmodeus ( lust ) , leviathan ( envy ) , belphegor ( sloth ) , mammon ( greed ) & satan ( wrath ) .

as most already know , lucifer & satan ( the devil ) are two sides of the same coin . the bible depicts satan having been at the war in heaven . the rebellion led to a war where michael and his angels fought against the dragon ( satan ) and his followers . the war then , supposedly , resulted with satan and his followers being cast out of heaven down to earth .

however , satan did not exist during the war in heaven .

in fact , the war in heaven was not a war at all . it was a trial held by the archangels & god . this trial was the ultimatum of what would come of lucifer and those who chose to believe in his ideals . nothing about this had been fair , nothing about this made sense . michael had lied , he had made the other angels , as well as god . . . his father . . . believe that lucifer had been treasonous . he intends to overthrow you , to ruin all that we have created , his ideas are dangerous , he hissed . he painted him as a monster .

satan did not come to exist until much , much later . it was man who had truly created him . satan had been created in man's own image & likeness . their anger , their hatred , their fear , their rejection , their abandonment ( alongside lucifer's ) is what had given birth to him . he was made of all things that man , and lucifer , hate about themselves .

lucifer & satan share a vessel . as mentioned , they are two sides of the same coin . this is not by choice . satan is the deepest and darkest parts of lucifer's soul . it has been said that whenever lucifer falls into despair , satan will take over , almost like another personality would for those with DID .

when satan is in control , lucifer is forced to be still and silent . he is unable to take back control until satan has decided he is ready to relinquish it . once lucifer does regain his control ? he remembers nothing of what satan had done with possessing their body . however , if he looks back into satan's memory . . . all will be shown , and he is left filled with disgust , horror & shame .

satan , while in control of lucifer , looks very similar . their differences are that satan's eyes are both white . there is no iris , no pupil . he also has large horns , large wings that resemble a bat , teeth like that of a piranha , and claws . satan is not a sympathetic creature . he harbors so much hatred and rage . so , so much rage . he does as he pleases , causing pain and suffering to whomever he deems fit . bonus points if it is someone close to lucifer . this is not satan's only form , however . michael had one thing right about satan ; he is also a dragon . not the red man you find in works of art .

while lucifer , thus far , has not been able to regain control from satan . . . there may come to be a point in time where he is able . lucifer is the true king , the one with the power . he only needs to remember that . it is lucifer who possesses the morningstar , after all .

if , and when , he does regain control , he will make satan submit to him . one eye normal , one eye white . . . the indicator that both are present , but only one has control .

the first piece of fiction ever written was the bible . while some accounts have pieces of truth laced within , there is never full truths . most of what has been written is nothing more than a fabrication , whispered into ears of ' prophets ' . they speak on behalf of the archangels , and as one can imagine , they only ever tell the side that brings favor to god . they lie through their teeth when it comes to lucifer . for example , the tale of adam & eve . the story originally perceives lucifer as a ' defiler ' , a trickster that wants to turn them away from god .

the bible states that lucifer took the form of a snake , approached eve , and told her that the fruit from the tree in the middle of the garden would tell her the difference between good & evil , that she would become wise like god . it was true that lucifer could take many forms , and it was also true that he had told eve what the fruit would do , but not because it would make her as wise as god . far from that . eve & lucifer had an odd . . . connection . much like him , there was a curiosity . an itch in the back of her mind that told her there was more , much more . and she had longed for that more than one could say .

he saw no harm in sharing what eating the tree's fruit would do . she was his friend , and if she truly wished to eat the fruit . . . there would be no one who could stop her from doing so . however , he did warn her . he told her that defying god would come with a terrible cost . god is not one to take kindly to new ways of thinking or acts of rebellion . god would punish her for this act . still , she chose to eat the fruit and shared it with her husband .

god , in a fit of rage , had cursed them . eve was to endure the worst pain she had ever experienced during childbirth ( and she would birth many children ) , her husband was to rule over her and have authority over her every action . her freedom stripped away . adam would have to work the land from which he came to provide for his family ; dawn until dusk , day after day . it would grow thorns , it would grow thistles , there would be droughts , and harvests would be sparse . this curse would be passed onto their children , their children's children , their children's children's children , and so forth . . . for all of eternity . and , somehow , lucifer was to be blamed . for it was him who told her of the fruit .

god & lucifer's story has been told . . . time and time again . however , one part of that story always seems to somehow escape the narrative . one person he despises as much as he does god himself . michael . why ? the two had been like that of brothers . he had thought of michael as his blood . there was nothing lucifer would not have done for him , if only he had asked . michael , however , was not the same . much like cain & abel . . . there was an underlying . a deep-rooted jealousy , a longing . michael had wanted to be lucifer . he wished to be god's favorite , he desired to have everything that lucifer had : his title , his place , everything that was important to him . he felt that it had been his birthright . . . and he plotted to take it . anger festered within him .

funny to think about now , isn't it ? the patron saint , the head of the angels himself . . . plagued by things deemed so unholy . yet , god would never know . was it lucifer who had been ' damned ' ? his ideas , his love for humankind , his ' rebellion ' . . . it had all been twisted . misconstrued . michael had painted lucifer out to be treasonous , jealous & dangerous . " he longs for your position , " words had been whispered . " power , power , power . . . lucifer desires power ! control ! he conspires against heaven , " venom-laced in his tone . " the rebellion will be at our door , he has turned many away from your light . . . " the seed had been planted .

while , yes , he did not agree with god's ideals and he longed for change within the heavens . . . lucifer did not seek to overthrow god , nor to be worshipped like a god . what he wished to do was to reason with him - help him to see that there are better ways . he would never have the chance . michael was the reason for lucifer's fall . it was betrayal , and in some lights , it was murder . there was no one that lucifer had trusted more than him . . .

brothers , he had called them . my own blood , said oh so many times by them both . and yet , michael hated him .

history has painted lucifer out to be many , many terrible things . however , it seemed as though the truth has always been excluded from these tales of fiction .
