Honestly as a blind person I’m so tired of seeing fictional blind characters who don’t use white canes or other guides. “They have special powers so they know what’s around them” or “they’re confident enough to not need a guide” are common tropes, and I’m tired.

Are people scared that using a white cane will make their blind character seem weak? They can’t use a cane because they’re so special that they already know what’s around them, and other blind people who use guides are inferior because they’re not special?

I’m tired. Give your blind characters white canes and other guides. Let them hold onto their friends, let them have guide dogs. Don’t make white cane users feel ostracized for not being “strong enough” to go without.

Another thing that pisses me off is when a sighted character comes up with the fantasy equivalent of braille and teaches it to the blind character. Braille was invented by Louis Braille, a blind man, in 1824. The blind character should be the one coming up with it.

Okay it’s likely people will end up naming ones I already did cause I’ve covered like 200 by now but what are some video games with nice weird gruesome bestiaries I should review this spooky season?? Any game where the enemies are predominantly demons, undead or supposed to be horrifying in any way. I guess I’d be long overdue for a really thorough look at some Castlevania stuff. At the very least Symphony of the Night.

So here we have some msm monsters based on Lobotomy Corporation’s abnormalities cuz uh why not

The abnormalities I based off of here were Don’t Touch Me, 1.76 MHz, and the training dummy rabbit 

Don’t touch me here is some weird thing with a button on its head. It has one eye (I plan to add an eye on the three other side’s) and teases pushing itself by constantly pointing at its button. When it does the crazed shouting from the original game plays.

1.76 MHz is now a mutant radio thing. The glitching creates a static noise probably idk quite yet tbh. I chose a radio of all things to depict a radio wave frequency for obv reasons. 

And lastly training dummy rabbit. What I did here was turn it’s general body shape upside down to create this. I’m pretty proud of it and it’s prolly my favy! He plays a synth by flashing around his face, like the (implied) yellow ad black alternate. 

So yeah, I have more made that I’ll show soon

The Outbursts of Everett True was a comic strip that ran in papers from 1905 to 1927, wherein the aforementioned Everett True regularly beat the everliving shit out of rude people as a warning to anyone else who might consider being rude. Men have not only been taking up too much room on public transport for about as long as public transport has existed, but the people around them have been irritated about it for at least a hundred years. The next time someone tries to claim that manspreading is a false phenomenon, please direct them to this strip so that Everett True can correct their misconceptions with an umbrella upside the head.
