After rereading Tinker's introduction in Flashback, I need to know more about her, especially with her backstory.

Also, I want to talk about Dex's reaction to meeting her. He acts kind of jealous and upset, which makes sense. Dex wasn't sure he was going to manifest an ability and once he did, he felt important and needed. This is his way of proving that children of a "bad match" aren't worthless. His ability makes him feel special so naturally, when he meets another Technopath, Dex feels useless in a way. Some inventions he's been have trouble making, Tinker instantly has ideas on how to make them work. It scares him, that he might not be needed anymore.
