To celebrate Juneteenth, I decided to make Stake and Smoke from the movie, Sinners. I was supposed to post them earlier but I ended up playing the game with their characters instead :) There was actually a curve to creating them. I couldn't always find cc to meet my vision(I don't do CAS cc). But here they are! I hope someone enjoys playing with them as much as I did.

Confessions of a Master Procrastinator

Tell me why I went to work on my Whimsical Flowers world in CAW and the files were missing? I had 3 computers. Emphasis on had. One blew up, and I had to snatch the SSD chip out.

It was encrypted, which I should have sworn I had removed. I was gasping for air and nearly had a panic attack, thinking I will have lost all of my sim creations(worlds and models w/plans) and beating myself up for arrogantly failing the # rule in data. It was originally my business pc, which I converted into a Sim Only laptop. I thought the encryption was removed a long time ago but it wasn't. Lucky, I found the key and I was saved. YAY!

Or so I thought. Because when I tried to edit the file in CAW, I got an error. I'll have to check my other computer to see if I have backups there, because the backup wasn't working either. I honestly do not feel like disconnecting my main computer to use the other. So, for the last few months I have been procrastinating.

But it was actually almost complete. Nearly every lot was done. So, to stave off the sadness and dread, I've been making other worlds. I did Palette World(scenic photo below), Topi Water World(completed, not published), BookNook World(in progress), and a untitled tiny neighborhood world(in progress).

As for cc, I feel like it slowed down my enjoyment of playing the game. The point of cc was to put it in my game to play with. So, that's on hold, except for special occasions or when something tickles my fancy. Btw, I'm working on something for Juneteenth 2025. If nothing happens, it should be posted on June 19. Until then, I want to start sharing some of my gameplay. I take so many screenshots nowadays, it'd be boring not to share them.

THE SIMS 3 STORE PRE-INSTALLED

Today marks 25 years of The Sims. Since EA forgot TS3 exists, I’m releasing the entire The Sims 3 Store as an Anniversary Gift. It's all pre-installed and works flawlessly!

It comes with all available fixes and collection folders I’ve personally created for every set. You'll get over 5000 new Buy/Build and CAS items, 11 new worlds, and tons of new gameplay!

INSTRUCTIONS

Go to "Documents/Electronic Arts" and rename the "The Sims 3" folder (or move it).

Create a new folder and name it "The Sims 3" (or whatever the name is in your language).

Extract the contents of the ZIP file in "The Sims 3." Now launch the game.

You'll have to adjust your setting again. Don't forget to disable the in-game Store so you don't get duplicates.

Quit the game. Copy the "Saves" folder from the folder you have previously renamed. You can also copy your Mods and CC in package format.

CAUTION

Never copy over or overwrite the DCCache folder.

If you have content installed through the Launcher (Sims3Pack), you'll have to reinstall it.

I strongly recommend you don't install things through the Launcher from now. It already has a lot of content and it is a known fact the Launcher becomes more and more unstable the more content it has to handle.

Since the entire Store has been decrapified, if you want to install lots or world that contain Store content, you'll have to decrapify those too using MATY's TS3 Recompressor.

I had a report that there was an invisible top in CAS. It doesn't seem to have a CASP resource so it shouldn't cause any issues (like being assigned to a random Sim). It's best to avoid it or hide it or blacklist it using NRaas mods. Do NOT try to save the game while your Sim is "wearing" this invisible top.

UPDATE #1: MARCH 2025

Added some missing content: the Mother Russia CAS Set and the Cool Chap Cap that was given as a secret bonus item in the "Make Me an Offer" page. If there's something else missing, please let me now.

Now NRaas MasterController and the Cheats and Integration modules are included in the pack. This version NRaas MC comes with CAS Compact Mode enabled by default. This should fix the issue of blank/invisible CAS items and also speed up the loading of CAS items. Keep in mind, these mods aren't compatible with Lazy Duchess' Smooth Path, but you can have both. Her mod will automatically disable the fast loading of CAS items.

I have changed my mind about certain ideas. I made some changes to my cc folder and ending up scrambling the world up because it couldn't properly read the folder anymore.

This means I'll have a settings file to go with the world so everything shows up as intended, instead of just a world file.

It will be unpopulated. I'm considering uploading the incomplete world file early and including an updated settings file. You may see it as early as a few days.

Unfortunately, This is no longer the skyline for the other side of the pond, since I have to revamp it. In all, I'd say I'm 50% done.

Lore:

There are 5 sections of the world: The Seven Families, Supernatural Happenings, Out on the Town, Uni Side, & The Residentials.

The Seven Families: Where the seven richest, most prominent families live. For their ancestors' deeds in the past, each family is cursed with one of the seven deadly sins. Every generation cannot escape their most vile traits. Because of their low profile, the townies do not know of their curse. And they like to keep it that way.

Supernatural Happenings: The old monsters that cursed the seven families still watch over their suffering from nearby. No one knows who they are. Unusual events often happen here. Yet, many townies are content to stick their heads in the sand no matter what.

Out on the Town: One side of town has all the hangouts, restaurants, clubs and bars.

Uni Side: This where you'll find more traditional lots. This family friendly area has a technical college, fraternity, and sorority.

The Residentials: The largest are on the map. Includes an Off-campus housing community, apartment buildings, and a nursing home.

Note: "Daiku Life" in the Out on the Town area is the criminal warehouse. Unfortunately, EA combines the movie theatre I used with that career. Just ignore the prebuilt one and use Daiku Life instead. There are two fire stations. Feel free to delete the one farthest from you…or if you're feeling chaotic, the closest.

Known Issues: There are lines around the ocean of the world (This is possibly due to an improper terrain import and can be ignored, as it doesn't affect gameplay. Some lots went through several versions of the map and therefore the terrain is not completely even. Most lots do not have this issue. However, if you choose to build, make sure the lot is leveled first.

First, I want to apologize for the amount of custom content I used. I use limited amounts of cc, plus my own. I never thought the list would get this long. I just built as I wanted and thought my ity-bity cc wouldn't amount to much. This is why I recommend users that have most/all EA premium content. I used Blam, which playtests well in game for me. I did include some of my unreleased cc in this world. This my first world, and I feel kind of proud that I managed to finish. While I enjoyed making this world the first few months, three restarts, one total loss, lots vanishing, CAW crashing, and countless other issues later, I am so glad to be done with it. This is technically still beta, but for now, consider it finished. I will never make another large world again. If you encounter odd glitches, shoot me a message in my inbox. Otherwise....

So, I was scrolling, looking for a particular post and I saw this. Normal people think, "beautiful!" I thought of Uzamaki. I stared horrified at those colorful snails on the wall. No joke. I don't find most of Junji Ito's manga collection scary, but there are some creepy scenes that disturbed my spirit forever. I had to take a week break to get over the scene where the student and teacher slowly morphed into snails and then mindlessly mated. When I recovered and picked it back up, I got smacked again towards the end when their fellow villagers turned desperado and and ate them "fresh" out of the shell and grilled the other. Not gonna lie, I was fine with their eggs getting smashed. I was at least spared the trauma of human baby snails. My bed is next to a wall and I stared at my wall for weeks, visualizing a human snail crawling up my walls. I have a lot of empathy and the horror they must have gone through losing their humanity, becoming mindless, and getting Graped. In the end, they scurried off into the woods together because they had no place among humans anymore. Only to show up later and get grilled on some cannibal type shit. The only other Junji Ito manga that kind of spooked me was that creepster with his chair. That said, this made me want to make a spiral world. Mostly empty, of course. I think it would be neat. Then hit the town with a meteor at the end of gameplay because...if you already read manga, Uzamaki had one of those "and everybody died" endings.

Lot Updates

Remember when I said my world would be ready for beta testing in a month. Yeah, I lied. I didn't know I was a liar, but I was. I checked my files and was shocked to find it took me a year to make this world. I played for four hours and got only two script errors from Nrass. There were some unrouteable notices that didn't put a dent in my gameplay. I played two households. First time on Reshade and it was pretty smooth. I will be uploading lots for anyone who wants to drop them in a separate world/save. Within the week, I'll look for beta testers...for real this time. Promise!

Fun fact: Lady Ichihara is based on CLAMP's Yuuko from xxxHolic. Though obviously, not exactly the same. I was feeling nostalgic again and started creating my own storylines. The register NPC is EA generated and only there for lot testing. Lady Ichihara is a mystic fairy, whose career line is the Gypsy Wagon. She comes populated with the world. I might create a Student Watanuki for the register later and put him in a save file. CC is Imani Hair from lalasimmer & the okami amaterasu from Murfeel. I'll have to update the pictures with the proper hair because CCMagic hates me and replaced it with a boring set.

There are lots like Blood Statis that I won't be uploading. It's a world exclusive Vampire Lounge. I liked the poolside vacation lots so much, I'll plan to reuse them in an island world. Same thing with some of the supernatural lots. They'll all be small worlds, of course. I don't think I'll ever do another big world again. First and last time. CC list had to be cut down because it was too large. I apologize to anyone I asked permission for and ended up excluding. I'll try to reserve what I didn't use for another world. This world uses every SP, EP, Uni Rabbitholes, & custom cc.
