there comes a night in which you find yourself restless. such nights in where your head painfully throbs so much with negative and intrusive thoughts, pestering you until tears sprout from glassy eyes and you have to resist from sobbing out loud ... it all comes so easily to you. it ends with the same result: little sleep and deep regret that you need to wash down with the bitterness of coffee or tea in the morning. however, with the addition of your unknowing boyfriend in the dorm, you have no choice but to keep extra quiet lest jun hears you and be more careful to not blow your cover once morning rolls around.

of course, you fail.

you cry harder, concealing your red face under the privacy of your thick blanket when jun hangs upside down from the top bunk he has been pleasantly lounging on, gaze focusing on your huddled figure. had it been any other situation, you would have thought it was funny how his hair flops due to the nature of gravity and how child-like he appears while hanging upside down like some kind of monkey.

"why are you crying?" jun asks. with the covers over you face, you are unable to spot the certain softness glowing in his concerned eyes. "did you have a nightmare or something?"

long pause.

"oooooooooh."

you hear some shifting from above, and then weight dropping against the floor. you do not peek to see what it is, but could only guess when you feel your mattress shift beside your physique to compensate a new added weight. soon after, something thin drapes around your middle and a hand ruffes the crown of your head that peeks from underneath the thick blankets. you thank that the dorm is currently consumed in darkness so it'd be difficult to see the flustered expression on your face even if you were to lower the covers from your face.

"i don’t know what you’re explicitly thinking, and i might never understand, but you’re not alone anymore, (y/n). i’m here now," jun says, voice quiet beside you. your brows furrow in confusion and teary eyes blink in bewilderment. you are about to deny his words but you find yourself silenced when jun clears his throat and hums a base note. such a single note resonates within you, resulting in you to ease where you lie and shift slightly to listen.

"i can smile because we’re together

i can cry because it’s you

so what can’t i do?

whenever, wherever

even if we’re not together, just like always

our smile flowers bloom

i’ll be the spring to your smile ..."

it's a melodious tune, so soothing and warn -- a true lullaby indeed. you would have never guessed jun could have such a soft voice, so equipped for singing. you’re sure he could make anything sound like a lullaby if he just tried. eyes now dried, crusted with leftover salt from tears, you close them and snuggles closer to the boy for warmth, in which he responds with petting back your hair in a gentler fashion and quiets down to simple humming.

for the first time on a intrusive minded night, you fall asleep peacefully.

weezy ☆ oof it’s been a long time !! i’ve finally come with a fic ... on seokmin !! he’s one of the few i haven’t written a full fic for yet !! hope you like it :> i know it’s not as good as my other works ;; i’ve fallen lately in the writing department. also i’ve been having trouble uploading gifs to my works so i’ll add one to this later !! 

despite what some may think, you think seokmin’s smile is especially beautiful. the pretty way the corners of his lips curve upwards is pretty, but the smile in which both rows of his straight, white teeth is the most sublime. it’s always genuine, never forced. the brightness of his smile alone could evenly challenge, if not defeat it in whole, the radiance of the sun and the ethereal glow of the moon. you even swear his smile could make meadows grow and attract bushes of flowers to lean his way as he walks. and his laugh, don’t even get yourself started on it.

of course, that’s what you wholeheartedly think … especially as you amusedly watch him get swarmed by numerous breeds of dogs from the opposite end of the dog cafe. your heart only swells as you listen to him shriek and laugh as dogs clamber onto his body, in search for the small cup of food he hides well on his person.

thinking about it: sure, it’s a little odd for one to have nothing but high praise for their boyfriend. you swear that whether or not it depicted you as the embarrassing lover, you would openly express such opinions if asked, regardless of how the interrogator may react. however, you were proud to love your boyfriend as much as you do; to be able to receive the same amount of that love back is a blessing, perhaps even a miracle in itself.

you mix your spoon idly in your beverage, feeling the corner of your lips curl into a soft smile as you observe your defeated boyfriend lying on the ground. some dogs lick his cheeks to rouse a response out of him (which only ends up being a tired, breathless chuckle) while a fine majority nibbles at the food in his small cup until there is nothing but crumbs and its dog enticing smell.

slipping out of your seat, you cross the dog cafe while sending other seated customers polite smiles before finally approaching your fallen boyfriend. before you think of offering your assistance, you fish for your phone in your pocket, change to the camera app, and silently snap a picture of your boyfriend being attacked by canines. giggling to yourself at the overflowing cuteness from the single pic, you can’t help but take a few more before dropping your phone back into your pocket. (you make a mental note to yourself to make two of them your lockscreen and homescreen once you find the time.)

kneeling beside seokmin, you whisper, “need a little help there?”

“please,” seokmin practically wheezes. his eyes wrinkle at the corners, lips stretching into a beautiful grin. returning it, you softly coo for some of the dogs to get off of your boyfriend. after a few minutes of leading dogs off of your boyfriend, he finally stands and takes a deep breath. pouting, he whines, “i thought i was going to die. my life actually flashed before my eyes, (y/n)!”

“stop being dramatic, seokmin,” you snicker, patting his arm gently. once again he smiles and follows you back to your table.

you stare at him as he sits himself down on the seat across from yours, already helping himself to the food he left behind several minutes ago. distracted by his food, he barely notices how your eyes scrutinize him and every feature on his face -- from the sharpness of his jaw, the gorgeous melanin of his complexion, the wrinkles at the corners of his eyes, the beauty mark underneath his eye, etc. you tear your eyes away when seokmin looks up at you with sparkling eyes to babble about how the entree is delicious. as you listen to him, you pick at your food with your fork, smiling a little dumbly.

many people think your love for seokmin is weird, probably obsessive. you think you’re fine with that. after all, there’s nothing wrong with loving your boyfriend to completion.

when he tells you he loves you for first time ☆ vocal unit

yoon jeonghan ☆ there’s no doubt about it, but yoon jeonghan is extraordinarily beautiful. it really puts you to shame sometimes. it’s surreal to even acknowledge the fact that he’s your boyfriend, but it’s something you’ve come to terms with rather easily considering he makes your relationship rather known among people. subtle or not so subtle touches and gestures, romantic ( and might i say expensive ) gifts, etc. for a while, it makes you happy and not ashamed to be in his presence ... that is until you realize the only thing that hasn’t been marked off the checklist is the ‘i love you’ bomb. and when you’ve realized it after how long, a sense of concern wakes you up and you immediately speak to jeonghan about it.

“you’re not dating me out of pity, right?”

“what are you talking about?”

jeonghan shares the same level of concern as you do until he realizes why you’re so flustered. when he does, he laughs jovially and gathers you in his arms, petting your hair and saying, “i was just waiting for the right time, silly! but since you’re so worried, here: i love you.”

joshua / hong jisoo ☆ without even meaning to, hong jisoo smells like the rich aroma of coffee. whether or not you like coffee, it brings you to the scenery of a cafe, somewhere in which coffee’s fragrance lingers in the way. it’s ironic, considering the first time jisoo tells you he loves you is on a date in starbucks ( or any nice cafe, really ). he holds your hand across the table, softly running his thumb over your knuckles and listening attentively to you speaking animatedly about what occurred earlier during the week or this morning. all the while, his eyes sparkle and he bobs his head in a nod occasionally. after a while, it occurs to both of you that he isn’t actually listening to you but rather, analyzing your features and taking note of every beautiful detail that lurks on your expression.

and when you jokingly blow on him about how he isn’t listening to you at all, he laughs softly, holds your hands and sweetly apologizes, “sorry, i love you!”

woozi / lee jihoon ☆ lee jihoon is one of the last people to admit that he loves you first right in your face, but only because he’s shy and not used to affection. on one of the nights in which you loiter around his studio for a considerable amount of time while occasionally being asked by your boyfriend to listen to what he has composed so far and give him the best critique you can, he tells you. but only by the time you’re drifting in and out of consciousness on his sofa does he do so. luckily, you’re in a period of faint consciousness when you overhear the whisper of “i love you” coming from softly above you, followed by a soft kiss planting itself on your forehead and a blanket being draped over your figure. 

before you fall asleep for good, you smile and murmur an “i love you too” back.

dk / lee seokmin ☆ it’s funny how lee seokmin just seems to know you return his feelings. looking back at it, that’s how it is and it makes you smile. 

the first time he tells you he loves you, he fidgets awkwardly in his seat. his cheeks are pink, fingers twiddling before him and from his expression, you can tell he seems genuinely nervous to say what he has to say to you. however, he eventually manages to say it after a few stammering moments: “i love you.” 

silence sits between you two, only because you’re struck speechless by his confession to actually reply. however, he clears his throat and says: “now you say it back,” and even grins knowingly, “come on, i wouldn’t have said it if i didn’t know you’d return my feelings!”

boo seungkwan ☆ the ‘i love you’ bomb comes rather quick in the relationship. it’s probably the first thing to get marked off the checklist because the very moment boo seungkwan confesses to you, he presents a gigantic bouquet of flowers and a courageous shout of, “I LOVE YOU!” since it was in public, one could only imagine how awkward it was. even though it might have been the pressuring stares of other people looking over at the commotion that egged you on, you do not regret giggling, accepting the bouquet of flowers and accepting his bold confession.

( he later apologizes for creating a scene and hopes you didn’t feel too pressured to accept his confession. however, you reassure him that your choice to go out with him is totally heartfelt and you feel the same way. words cannot describe the soft, thankful smile he gave you at that moment. )

I generally don’t have biases bc I’m suppperrr indecisive, but when I first saw Boom Boom I fell in love with Jun on the spot 💕 I genuinely love all of them, but I think Minghao is like my number 1 now 🤷‍♀️

ooo !! that’s totally okok !! svt is such a good group and everyone is so talented that you just get bias wrecked left and right ;;-;; i totally understand huhu BUT RIGHTTT. i’ve actually only been a svt stan since boom boom era as well ;; i think i fell in love with jeonghan first ?? but jun and hao looked very good in that mv too 👀👀

My bias in SVT is Hoshi! At first I was like "damn this boy's funny, ok!" But now it's just a collection of so many things (humor, cuteness, dancing, dedication, ECT) that keeps him in 1st. ^-^ Who's your bias??

aww i see i see !! i definitely agree !! hoshi is such a joy !! my faves are jihoon, chan and minghao but i also hold a lot of love for seungkwan and mingyu !!
