Tick Tock: Here's February

Well, it's already February. Good grief.  If you've been following along, you know that the theme for my year has been intentional living; essentially, not wasting precious time. Focusing more time on things that matter and less on things that don't. I've been making time to participate in an online, international Bible study. Every morning, I, along with women from around the world, are studying the same scriptures and pondering the same things. How cool is that? Trying to find balance with my spiritual life, being a stay-at-home mom, business school, and my part time handmade business is enough to make anyone crazy. This study has really helped me stay grounded and focused on what really matters. I'm really glad I made a commitment to it. 

My capsule wardrobe that I wrote about in my last post is going pretty well. I've only cheated a couple times. ;) In all seriousness, it has helped me get ready faster in the mornings. It's also made me realize how wasteful I can be with money and clothing. It's opening up my mind to spending more wisely on pieces that I will wear forever and spending less on trendy, seasonal items. Also, it's made me think about what I really like to wear. Sometimes there is pressure to conform to an ideal that is projected on us, but that ideal may not work for everyone. It's really freeing to put clothes on that you love, fit you well, and you feel 100% YOU in. Yes and yes!

DipDaDip has done really well this month, with a feature in tumblr's own Etsy Find of the Day. Definitely saw an increase in traffic and sales after that! Very grateful! I've completed several orders for matchbook calling cards as well for some small businesses. Hoping for another successful month! 

And my most important project, my little Luci, turned 15 months old at the end of January! She's a walkin', babblin', Thomas-the-train-lovin', little light of my life!
