Why do we insist on building walls instead of bridges? • • • I went to a talk yesterday and it was pretty enlightening. Learning about new schools of thought, how one should think about one’s life, how to find balance, it was pretty rad. It’s also a plus to meet a guy named Frank who does trad climbing so I guess that’s going into my summer plans! I took this shot on a cliff side right about some rock climbing routes. I got stuck with one 5.10+ but I think my stamina needs some work. Waterfalls are serene yet still chaotic, that fine balance is always mesmerizing • • • • • Sometimes going with the flow of things works best. I re-injured my right hip with ultimate because I didn’t warm up enough. Daily yoga is improving it and hopefully it’s not so bad that it impedes my ability to crush some routes while climbing. I thought I had a map to where I would go but I lost it out the window • • • Life’s messy. It’s not full of promises and dreams that everyone makes it out to be but it’s kind of like a highway, there are exit ramps and scenic overlooks on the side of the road though eventually, you have to get back on it. Where it goes, nobody really knows. But we all have one life. Why hold ourselves back from the adventures we could have, the memories we can make?
