These are the seeds I’m starting for my indoor and outdoor hydroponic garden. Buttercrunch lettuce, iceberg lettuce, red romaine, green, romaine, and gourmet lettuce. Then cilantro, baby bok choy, leeks, scallions, red acre cabbage, arugula, basil, kale, spinach, rhubarb, cherry tomato, red bell pepper, orange bell pepper, white, brown, and purple bell peppers. I like plants where the entire thing is edible and requires low maintenance in these 5 gallon bucket set ups. Let me know what you want to see me grow :D

Testing how we are gonna move the fruit trees with the Brussels sprout. We are gonna rent for a couple more years and buy our own house here soon but in the meantime our indoor hydroponic garden will come with us. It’s sad to leave behind the grape vine, apricot tree, and lemon.

This we be our final harvest as my wife and I get ready to move. The house we have been renting for years got sold. The landlord sold to his friend without giving us the chance to buy it. It’s okay this is our 6th time moving in the last like 5 years. If we can we take the plants every where we go. This happened to the last house too. In the coming years we hope to buy our own house. In the mean time we ditch the flock yet again

My 4 year old indoor hydroponic Aloe Vera is shooting out pups witch make for easy propagation. If you can pull one out with some root and plant it you have another little aloe plant. If it drops it’s having trouble hydrating, take some leaves off. Or propagate straight from a leaf. I propagate in R/O filtered water but your tap may work as well. Using just water for propagation I like to keep it clean dark and aerated until roots from and I can transfer and give some nutrients. For more in depth videos check out my YouTube Ditch The Flock for longer videos :D have a great day!

How we grow gourmet lettuce year-round hydroponically indoors (short). We will put out a long form video talking just about how to grow lettuce year round similar to this short just in more detail. With no environmental threat I’m able to graze the lettuce for several months till it flowers and get thousands of seeds while still eating off the plant the whole time. I love to try and keep them alive as long as possible but it’s not necessary. Indoors with the extended season we can get cool results we wouldn’t normally outside. There’s many ways to grow hydroponic lettuce, with or without air pump, and all kinds of nutrient bundles. Under LEDs windowsills or outside I highly recommend lettuce. Thank you guys for all the support have a great day : D

Let’s see what we can harvest from the indoor hydroponics garden today. The leaves of red acre cabbage an Brussels sprouts adds a nice flavor to a salad with the gormet lettuce and arugula. A good handful of 2 of some berries and we should have more again in a couple days as the plants are getting big in this new tent and the 16 strawberries are all getting nice and old and big like the one’s downstairs with the peppers. Thank you for watching I hope you enjoy :D

This is how I clone strawberry plants, I’ve used these methods to clone over 200. My favorite is just clip and put in water, I will make a long form video on cloning strawberries coming out tomorrow on my YouTube Ditch The Flock :D thank you for watching, I’ve tried this with tap water and RO filtered water both work.
