It’s been days,

We haven’t seen each other, dear.

The music of loneliness

Fills up the air.

It’s the only melody

I’ve come to hear.

I know,

The flow of time

Took everything with it,

Wherever it strides.

There’s almost everything

That follows the tide,

Shows some change,

But there are also some

Who deny the decree

And remain the same.

I think I'm that some

Nourishing my feelings

So that it doesn't change

And when the time comes

You find it the same

you still want to call it conditional,

And see it as a mere pact.

But this is something noble

That you really can’t neglect.

कुछ छूट रहा है?

कुछ छूटेगा।

कोई रूठ रहा है?

कोई रूठेगा।

सवार हो समय की कश्ती पे,

संसार में जीवन नाप रहा हु।

विपरीत धाराओं के जाके,

मैं भी कुछ जीवन साध रहा हु।

साध ले जाने का ये प्रयत्न,

कुछ तो वक्त खींचेगा।

देखो

ये वर्ष अब बीत चला है,

ये वर्ष भी बीतेगा।

और चाहु समेट लेना कितना भी मैं

रेत भरी इस मुट्ठी से

कुछ तो निश्चित ही छूटेगा।

It was a failure of mine,

When they brought you to taunt..

When that scene have become a reminisce

Why it still hurts

Like it was not just a mistake

But a grievous sin

To a market of bizzare

With lots of doubt

Are we actually living?

Or playing a character

Do we all are a protagonist

Acting what ,

That is

.. directed by that almighty director

Let the life be an act

Suppose self to be an actor,

It's not only you

Who is in the act

Everybody around,

may be ,

Are playing their character

But what am I portraying,

Which is the one character

That I am playing

Is it that?

What I think about myself

Or it is something

What others think of me

Or may be that

What I had thought to become once

Wandering this all

I am laughing ridiculously

Or there is really someone behind

Doing this all very meticulously

दो राह

ये रात है

नाजाने कौन साथ है

कहा जाए

किस से कहे

ये आदमी कितना उदास है....

फुल झर के सर रहे

गुलशन नाबाद फर रहे

ऊपर आफताब तेज़ है

नीचे जमीन भी तप रही

बारां से �� गुरेज है

एक अगर वो आ जाए

तो फिर ये जंग भी

परवेज़ है।।।

कही छूटा कोई हमनशीन

कही किसी का सोग है

वबाएं फैली हर जगह

हर जगह एक फौत है

दवाएं जिसके हाथ में

एक जो है खड़ा कही

वो हाकिम को आ जाए

फिर चीज़ क्या ये रोग है।।

सामने घनी अंधेरी ओस है

पग पग पर राह ए फिरदौस है

हर कदम पे दिख रही

जिंदगियां बेजान सी

आगे बढ़ने को यहां

होना लाशों पे पामाल है

हा मगर मिल जाए

ये उम्मीद की

मंज़िल पे तेरा साथ है

हम कयामत भी झेल आयेंगे

ये ओस-अंधियारा क्या चीज़ है।।।
