what does each of your tes game protags think of the main villain(s) >:D
Eric:
Main game - *insert romatic music playing* Mountain daddy. . .😳 Ma'eric has a love-hate relationship with Dagoth, really. But I'm not going to spoil anything too much yet. I plan to actually write Ma'Eric's backstory fully in the future where I'll explain. But, basically, getting corprus wrecked his brain a tiny bit
Tribunal DLC - *insert romatic music playing AGAIN* Mommy morrowind. . .😳 Kinda the same situation I think, though since I didn't get to play the DLC yet I can't know for sure. Maybe I'll think of a story until then lol
Bloodmoon DLC - Eeeh, no particular thoughts on Hircine? Ma'eric doesn't have strong feelings towards any daedric princes, really.
Ridus Magnus & Splinter:
Main game - Ridus definitely doesn't like the idea of Oblivion Gates opening everywhere, and, therefore, doesn't particularly enjoy Mehrunes Dagon. Splinter does like the idea, but since she doesn't serve Mehrunes Dagon, and thinks he's dumb in general, she'd prefer if a different daedric prince invaded Nirn.
(We haven't really started the DLCs yet and don't want to accidentally spoil anything so lol)
Abdulamassu/Isa:
Main game - Isabella has no hard feelings towards Alduin, herself both knowing that overcoming the lust for power that is instinctual for dragons is very hard, and also believing that Alduin is a function - a force of nature, even, rather than simply a "big evil dragon that wants to destroy the world". She's sure that defeating him is simply postponing the end. When the world truly needs to end, he'll be back once again. She's also a believer that Alduin and Akatosh are the same entity, so here's where that comes from as well.
Dawnguard DLC - GRRRR Isa would kill him again if she could. Believes he sucks and neglected Serana.
Dragonborn DLC - Sad because she didn't really get to meet Miraak :'( (Djai killed him whoopsie) Being the only dragonborn in the entire world, not having anyone who can relate to your struggles is tough. . . Although she liked painting his mask, which Djai begrudgingly gave her as payment for helping him with some stuff. Otherwise, she fantasizes about how they could've been friends, even despite how many times she has been told by both Djai and Zii that he was an arrogant jerk.

@the-elder-polls HI for TCS sharing some art I did yesterday in like an hour because I was bored
The music under the cut is what I was listening to while drawing to get the vibes. The location is Tel Vos cuz every time I levitate up there I go "Omg imagine just chilling out there. The perfect balcony". So Eric's probably doing the equivalent of going out to the balcony to smoke. He probably begged Aryon to let him stay at Tel Vos because he doesn't even have 10 gold to sleep in a tavern (He's very broke bc he spent all of his money on scrolls and a guar ;-;) (Aryon probably would give him 10 gold if he asked) (but he's too proud to "beg for money")

A rather monstrous figure appeared out of thin air. Whatever it was- Well, he was, rather. Clearly, he was some kind of- creature. Perhaps not nearly scary enough to be a sleep paralysis demon- Yet perfectly fit to be a thing you would very well see in one of your nightmares. He looked. . . Otherworldly, to be short. Three-eyed, with sharp claws as black as if they were a piece of a void, clumsily wrapped with bandages.
He walked closer,
"Hiiii!!" He said in a quiet, almost whispery voice, stretching out the "i".
(OOC: This is @bookworm-driven-insane btw hehe. Obligatory crossover episode time, aka my "SHIT I know nothing bout this fandom but I wanna interact with frien's blog :((( Wait I have an RP blog too. . . Hang on." card. Anyways I should mention reading this blog without understanding anything might actually get me into fallout.)
Galileo, looking up from the yellow painted scorpion he’d been staring at- or had he been- he wasn’t even certain if he was awake at this point, tilting his head before raising a hand in greeting “Huh… talking cat…? Hi!”

"Okay, you got something wrong there- I am not a cat, but otherwise, great to see you bud!"
He said quietly, looking Galileo up and down. Djai tapped his foot as he thought.
"Ohhh, you're the- the,, the guy right? Galileo, or whatever?"

hello haii!! have you ever written fics about Djai? I'm sooo curious about him! does his third eye work like a normal eye or can he see something more with it? has he always disliked light or is that a side-effect from his, y'know, way of living?
HI!!! Thank you for the ask!!! It makes me really happy knowing people are actually interested in my sillies haha!
Not really? I mean, I have written a really short one-shot about him recently, but that's it. I do plan writing something about him in the future, though!
Yes and no? He doesn't outright see out of it, at least not usually, but it does somewhat affect his depth perception and general perception of reality. In a way, it sort of works as blind sightedness, where he doesn't outright see some things but he is aware of them.
It is a side effect! He was always not very fond of light, but in a way where he just preferred rainy days over sunny ones. Not to the extent of literal photophobia.
His current hate towards light does partially come from the fact that his eyes are very sensitive to it. But also from how much time he spent in apocrypha, especially in the areas of darkness

@the-elder-polls Hi TCS friday yayyy (i'm @bookworm-driven-insane btw this is my side blog for TES oc related stuffs/Djai RP. Kinda empty lmao)
SORRY DIDN'T DO ANYTHING FOR THE PREVIOUS FRIDAY BUT!! I WAS COOKING FOR THIS ONE.
I have decided to draw a family tree of my khajiit!! Without their respective spouses, for now, because they aren't as important for this/in general. Basically the important members of the family only for now xD
Also, as a side note, only Djai and Eric's designs are final, others are a rough sketch only.
Lore below!!
At the top is (Ma')Eric, aka my nerevarine!! I'll ramble about his entire backstory sometime later. I have an outline of his backstory, but I haven't finished morrowind yet and I will complete his backstory once I finish it so it's as lore accurate as possible. x3
Long story short, he has twins, but has to give them away for their own safety because he himself gets death threats basically daily- and his children were already kidnapped once. Also he just doesn't have time, like, at all to care for them. Both twins are ohmes-raht btw!! [possibly. . . with the mix of some dunmer in there. . . but shhh. . . spoilers]
The one of the left ends up in an orphanage in Cyrodiil, before getting adopted by some necromancers. Again gonna ramble more about them later, but I have something planned for them already!!
The other one ends up in Elsweyr, and gets raised by a regular family. He actually has no idea that he is adopted his whole life, I mean, nobody told him and he had no reason to suspect that. He's also, like, a pretty shitty person. Has a talent for magic but never really uses it outside of charming people for his own gain.
He has two children, Murrsea [The one on the left, with a scar on her face] and Djai [the one on the right], Murrsea being two years younger than Djai.
Already rambled about Djai, so going to ramble about Murrsea, but in a more 'meta' way first.
Murrsea is actually really important to me!! She was a shared OC with one of my parents, I helped create and name her a long long time ago when they were playing skyrim and I wanted to watch them play [that was the first time I've ever seen an elder scrolls game, I didn't even know what it was back then]. Since they're not really into OC stuff, though, and they know that I am, they gifted Murrsea to me after finishing skyrim!! :'D Murrsea is also a mage [Duh, everyone in their family is. At least everyone in their family has a natural talent for magic]. She is pretty well-known for killing a dragon once (not completely ofc because she couldn't take its soul), and it was actually rumored she was the dragonborn. She, however, isn't the dragonborn- She's just a really really great battle mage. She took Djai's place when he resigned from being the archmage, and that's kind of what she does now.
I think that's all? Apologies for any mistakes. And once again, a lot of stuff I've written here will likely change later, but the core elements will likely stay.

"Oh cool, this is about me!"
Response to the formal invitation :'3 *throws my stupid TES children at you*
(P.S. his story is everchanging as I figure out what the heck is happening in TES lore, but all of the core elements will likely stay the same) SO, his name is Djai. Djai the Curious, to be exact. Djai is a khajiit, more specifically Cathay. I'd like to split the information of him in two parts because his story is very much "before all of that shit happened" and "after all of that shit happened". His story is also very much based on the saying "curiousity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back". He lived in Elsweyr for his first years of life, before his parents sold him along with a familial artifact for many reasons. Luckily, through black market slave trading he actually was "bought" by some rich people, but luckily they had some common sense(Crazy for people in TES, I know) , and they raised him pretty much like their own child. They brought him to skyrim, where he would grow up. When he was a young adult, he "moved out", so to say. He actually just said "fuck all of this shit" and went adventuring. He traveled for a long time, met some people, made some important connections - which led to him joining the collegue of winterhold under a fake/pen name, and eventually becoming the archmage, before he resigned because he wanted to adventure more. Later, he met an argonian woman Wonders-About-Stars, who had grown up in morrowind [Most likely in solstheim.] and only recently arrived in skyrim. They became rivals for a long time, but eventually they became friends and got married. Bought a house in riften and,, happy ending for them both, right?
. . . But something wasn't quite right. Djai wasn't satisfied with this, like, at all. Sure, for some people maybe his life would be perfect but he - he craved new adventures. To do something, rather than settle down and live comfortably. And so, instead of doing that, he started going out almost every day to a cave, or a place he deemed interesting, and also started a collection. . . He also became a lot more paranoid than before, almost always feeling that he was being watched. First it was just random artifacts. Anything that was sort of unique, or appeared unique enough to him was added to this collection. But it soon appeared that this would be quite a big collection if he continued that. So he moved on to rarer artifacts: he only considered items that were very rare, or even legendary worthy of adding to it. Until one day, he came across an artifact that would change his life. Forever. A certain book. . .
From his wife's POV, Wonders-About-Stars woke up one day, just to find her husband gone. Didn't think much of it; He's gone all the time, not a big deal probably forgot to tell he was going on one of his adventures again. But the circumstances of his disappearance was getting stranger and stranger the more she discovered. And the more time had passed. One day of him being gone turned into days, then weeks, and when it was a couple of months - she's had enough, and she left their house. No, she wasn't coming back without him. Or, at very worst, without knowing what happened to him.
Meanwhile, Djai's out there living his best life. He got a patron in the face of Hermaeus Mora. Pros; Acess to funky library dimension, gets to satisfy his curiosity and do a bunch of chores for Mora that are centered around knowledge and books. Oh, also, he now has tentacles, so that's a plus. Cons; he now has quite a monstrous appearance. Being that long in apochrypha + under Hermy's influence doesn't do any good for your sanity or appearance. Another con is that he now has Mora in his head permanently and that's annoying hearing that guy go "ERM, actually" every time you think about something the wrong way. Also some side effects from his time in apochrypha for him are really similiar [I based them on it soo] to the symptoms of rabies in cats. He's also friends with my Dragonborn, Isabella/Abdulamassu [She's a dunmer who lived in morrowind until going to skyrim. No, she didn't live in solstheim. Yes, she did go to skyrim because life was absolutely shit] and her "brother" [Not by blood. Or, to be fair, very very distant relatives by blood, but it's complicated to explain. They've just decided that they're so close that they're going to be brother and sister] Ziikreh, my dragon priest OC who's pretty much a TES version of a boomer complaining about "back in MY DAY!!" because he was dead for, like, a LOT of time and got fully resurrected when the dragons got resurrected [Again, it's complicated, but his soul is connected to the soul of a dragon so when the dragon "woke up" he also did]
They are all my Skyrim OCs!! I have a bit more, but it's already getting long, so I'll wrap it up here.
I also have OCs for Oblivion and Morrowind, but since i'm in the process of playing both games rn I don't know the lore fully, so they're underdeveloped at the current moment!
Just going to spoil it by sayin my Morrowind OC, Ma'eric, is based on my friend's cat. That all started as a stupid joke about how her cat is very similiar to a khajiit, and now I made it real lmao. Ma'eric is a necromancer who isn't sure who he is quite yet, he can't help but feels like someone trapped in the wrong body. Always having to pretend that the body fits him by acting like a different person, when in actuality, it does not. Hm, I wonder what that could be foreshadowing. . .
OH THAT'S ALL SO COOL. hermy mory hitchhiking a ride in my head would also drive me a bit cuckoo bonkers. also the dragon priest's soul being tied to their dragon is SO COOL i love it
fact for a fact: my oc version of konahrik was pledged to vulthuryol, the dragon you find in blackreach

Don't really have a say in this as a khajiit. But eeh, tbh, YTA. Like culture is culture and all but by the gods! She expressed that she doesn't like it, so you should stop, at least around her.
In my opinion she should get a divorce and go no contact. Smh.
My [M 56 Nord] Wife [F 187 Dunmer] of 23 years said she doesn't appreciate it when I call other elves "Knife Ears".
I explained to her it's what my family always called elves and it's part of Nord culture.
AITA???
