davi had chosen to decline an invitation to attend the rooftop party.  it wasn’t that she didn’t want to, but work had demanded her attention again.  like it always did, the duration had spanned throughout the night, bleeding into the early hours of the following morning.  to say that she was tired would have been an understatement, arms full of folders ─ proposals, rough drafts of bills and itineraries that needed finalizing she had to work on from home on top of her regular obligations at the office.  davi was spent.  she walked toward the elevator on the main floor of the apartment building where she lived, folders weighing her arms down, butterscotch frappuccino in one hand and her phone in the other one as she surged forward to push the button on the panel that signaled for the elevator to come down.  she stepped forward when the doors opened, a single chime announcing its arrival ─ and colliding with somebody, knocking the dozen of folders out of her arms, papers flying everywhere, cold coffee splattering on their feet.  ❝ no ! no, no no. ❞  chocolaty orbs zeroed in on the other person. ❝ oh ─ it���s you. ❞

She’s closer to her mother. Her father is a politician and doesn’t check in on them often, owing to his “heavy workload”. ♡ She is an overachiever due to having been forced to live in her older sister’s shadow during her high school career. She was relieved when Heather graduated and chose to study abroad. It wasn’t long before Davi slipped into the role that she knew had been meant for her all along and never looked back — pretty and popular, captain of the power squad, student council president and queen bee of her high school’s social hierarchy. ♡ Davi is a virgin. She had one boyfriend during high school, dating him off and on both her junior and senior year before the long-distance was too much for both of them. Their breakup was mutual — especially when he started treating her like a trophy versus his girlfriend and more importantly his equal. ♡ Ironically, after their breakup, she casually dated, never committing to anything long-term. Despite their differences in ideology in terms of what a relationship entailed, she loved him. She met the man who would oversee her internship — Malibu’s mayor. She was surprised of his understanding towards her most precious virtue being as important to her as it was, choosing to lavish his affections on her in ways that steered clear of the bedroom — expensive dinners, late-nights holed up in his office and extravagant gifts. She expected what had essentially become a business arrangement between them to end sooner than it did, but he promised that he loved his wife, and the payoff was uprooting Davi to Yellow Springs, Ohio in return for her silence and secrecy. She agreed. ♡ Fast-forward two years, and she currently works for the mayor of the cozy little town, no longer interning but earning her keep as his trusty secretary. ♡ She owns a Sphynx cat named Sina who unmistakably was given his name due to his blue eyes. She realizes that he isn’t everybody’s cup of tea upon first meeting him, but he’s Davi’s everything. ♡ Davi is a stress cleaner. ♡ Her favourite food is thai. ♡ Her hobbies include sunbathing topless, shopping online, plucking up the courage to go back to school, painting and spending time with Sina. ♡ She’s very into organizing every aspect of her life — and everybody else’s. She thrives on event planning and naturally takes on the leadership role. She doesn’t like to be told what to do or how to complete tasks. ♡ Davi’s favourite flower is a sunflower.
