as someone who is anemic and always falling asleep in class this is a huge fucking issue if your teachers don't understand. thankfully i had some amazing teachers the last few years but others aren't so lucky.

This is a manipulative abuse tactic called Leveling. In which the abusive individual equates their behavior to that of their victim.

A common form of Leveling is claiming that calling out abuse is the same or as bad as being abusive. This is exactly what Musk is doing here by equating the calling out of bigotry with bigotry.

Edit: This isn't Musk's doing, though it is similar to things he said in the past. Still an example of Leveling tho.
