Thank you Area 51 and @efflux_live_productions for hosting Saturday's show. Most people will say the heart of Southern California is DTLA, or the Port of LA, or Sunset Blvd or Venice Beach. They are all wrong the heart can be found in Vernon. Vernon is dirty, empty, unforgiving city and it is "ground zero for making things happen". The place is straight out of a bukowski poem.
