#Both the original and remake Suspiria are pretty good#same with Ringu and The Ring#theyre different movies that go for different things but i still enjoyed both#havent even seen any of The Conjuring franchise films but everything ive ever seen about it makes me want to avoid all James Wan films#I'm not that big on slashers since im more into supernatural horror although i have seen some of the foundational ones and liked them#I'm not big on gore so ive avoided torture porn movies but i might watch martyrs because it could be pretentious about it in a way i like#speaking of pretentious in a way i like i havent seen that much elevated horror but from what ive seen it can be pretty good#that being said the term elevated horror is the most obnoxious smug superior shit ever#also i do not like zombie horror#its technically always scifi or supernatural but it always feels like the lowest level of those and they arent scary they just look gross#also the Silent Hill movie was Good Actually even if it misuses some of the game imagery

You know people like to say that vriska caused every plot development in homestuck in some way but like give terezi some credit she is what lead to davesprite's timeline which also influenced rose to go grimdark eventually and then she made sure the trolls find the beta kids to begin with. Then near the end she instructed john on how to go about the recton.
