Do you know why we fall in love with readers?

It’s easy to fall in love with a good book. You might be familiar with the joys of flipping open a set of crisp pages. Soon the characters that lie waiting between them will feel like close friends, the pages themselves will become soft and worn, and the story’s world will seem like a second home. Eventually you will return to the real world, but not for long. Soon you will consumed yet again by another faraway land, another group of imaginary heroes, another great adventure. The pleasures of literature are exhilarating and infinite. It is easy to love a book – loving a person is much harder. However, there may be some sort of pleasant connection between the two.

1.READERS EMPATHIZE

Annie Murphy Paul of TIME magazine is an advocate of a practice she calls “deep reading.” This is the kind of literary experience in which you become fully immersed in the story and feel the emotions, sensations, and struggles of the world depicted therein. Unfortunately, deep reading is falling out of favor, as today’s people are more inclined to skim a website than break in a paperback. Raymond Mar, a psychologist at York University in Canada, and Keith Oatley, a professor emeritus of cognitive psychology at the University of Toronto, determined from multiple research studies that people who engage in deep reading appear to be better able to understand other people, empathize with them, and view the world from their perspective. It seems that, by experiencing the world through another set of eyes, they learn to see differently with their own. As  F. Scott Fitzgerald said, “that is part of the beauty of all literature. You discover that your longings are universal longings, that you’re not lonely and isolated from anyone. You belong.”

2. READERS CONVERSE WELL A reading enthusiast lives in a world of words. They soak them in, mull them over, and tuck away the best phrases to keep with them for the rest of their lives. They have some carefully forged and and well developed thoughts, as well as the ability to express them in a beautiful and intelligent way. Do you know what is meridian?

It is a circle of constant longitude passing through a given place on the earth's surface and the terrestrial poles. Meridian has two types of concepts one is geographic concept and another is astronomical concepts.

Geographical Meridian 

According to Wikipedia, ‘A geographical meridian or line of longitude is the half of an imaginary great circle on the Earth's surface, terminated by the North Pole and the South Pole, connecting points of equal longitude. The position of a point along the meridian is given by its latitude indicating how many degrees north or south of the Equator the point is. Each meridian is perpendicular to all circles of latitude. Each is also the same length, being half of a great circle on the Earth's surface and therefore measuring 20,003.93 km.

There is a place in England called  Greenwich Park, the meridian through there is also called the Prime Meridian, was set at zero degrees of longitude, while other meridians were defined by the angle at the center of the earth between where it and the prime meridian cross the equator.  As there are 360 degrees in a circle, the meridian on the opposite side of the earth from Greenwich, the International Date Line forms the other half of a circle with the one through Greenwich, is 180° longitude. The meridians from West of Greenwich (0°) to the International Date Line (180°) define the Western Hemisphere and the meridians from East of Greenwich (0°) to the International Date Line (180°) define the Eastern Hemisphere. Most maps show the lines of longitude.

Astronomical Meridian

 It is a pivotal element in navigation, time keeping and astronomy. It defines where you. In simple terms the local meridian is an imaginary line that runs from north to south and goes straight over your head through what we call zenith, a point in the sky directly above you. But this is not visible. It is like spiritual. People not used to believe this, but recently scantiest are say that astronomical meridian is not a lie. Though their research are not done yet. That’s why, we still don’t have a valued reason to say astronomical meridian is not a fantasy.

Do you know the meaning of word ‘sapiosexual’ according to urban dictionary?

One who finds the contents of someone else's mind to be their most attractive attribute, above and before their physical characteristics? From the Latin root "sapien", meaning wise. The term is now becoming mainstream with dating apps such as OkCupid and Sapio giving users the ability to define their sexual orientations as "Sapiosexual."

For many, defining oneself as Sapiosexual is also a statement against the current status quo of hookup culture and superficiality, where looks are prized above all else.

"Give me a deep conversation or a passionate debate over brainless beauty any day. Someone who makes me reconsider my long-held beliefs and challenges my mind is a person I can easily fall for. There is no doubt that I'm a sapiosexual."

But Sapiosexuality can’t be placed on a spectrum like asexuality, demisexuality and sexuality.  Instead, it can be understood as a kind of fetish, where an attraction to intelligence can be felt by any person of any sexual orientation.

Do you know there is a hottest grandpa in china?

Since strutting bare chested down the runway last year, an 80-year-old man is being dubbed as China’s hottest grandpa.

Actor Wang Deshun has featured in films such as The Forbidden Kingdown and Warriors of Heaven and Earth and made his catwalk debut at Chinese Fashion Week, where he stole the show by storming shirtless down the runway with a seriously toned physique and long grey hair.

With his gym-honed figure, hipster beard and youthful looks you'd be forgiven for thinking Deshun Wang was half his age.  The Shenyang native has been acting since he was 24. Only began going to the gym aged 40 but now has an impressive body  

But the actor and model is in fact 80-years-old and is being dubbed the 'world's hottest grandpa', after proving a hit on the runway in China. 

Deshun has proved that you are never too old to take up something new, walking his first catwalk just a year ago, at age 79. 

Please be inspired and always remember that age is just numbers nothing more then that.

Do you know there is psychiatric disease call necrophilia?

Which is a rare paraphilia characterized by a sexual attraction to corpses. It comes from the Ancient Greek word, ‘nekros‘, meaning corpse or dead, and ‘philia‘, meaning love. According to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, which is the rule book for mental health diagnoses, the criteria for necrophilia are the presence, over a period of at least six months, of recurrent and intense urges and sexually arousing fantasies involving corpses, which are either acted upon or have been markedly distressing.

Not much is known about necrophilia, largely due to the shame and silence surrounding the disorder. It is believed to be rare but it also could be that many people experiencing these feelings just don’t mention them. Either way, what empirical data we do have comes almost exclusively from published case studies. Researchers have theorized that the reasons for necrophilia include poor self-esteem due to a significant loss, being so fearful of rejection that they desire a partner who cannot reject them, and feeling so socially or sexually inept that they seek out non-threatening sexual partners. Whatever the reasons, researchers suspect that emotional problems are the basis for necrophilia.

Jeffrey Dahmer murder people to rape and eat them. He was described as an energetic and happy child until the age of 4, when surgery to correct a double hernia seemed to effect a change in the boy. Noticeably subdued, he became increasingly withdrawn following the birth of his younger brother and the family's frequent moves. By his early teens, he was disengaged, tense and largely friendless.

Jeffrey claims that his compulsions toward necrophilia and murder began around the age of 14, but it appears that the breakdown of his parents' marriage and their acrimonious divorce a few years later may have been the catalyst for turning these thoughts into actions.

This guy even admit that once he was eating a healthy man’s arm it was so hard to chew though he don’t give up. He always killed those people who was his favorite or he like for some reasons and by eating them he is keeping them inside of him.

Jeffrey Dahmer was murdered by another murderer named Christopher Scarver. When he was in prison, in accordance with his inclusion in regular work details, Dahmer was assigned to work with two other convicted murderers, Jesse Anderson and Christopher Scarver. After they had been left alone to complete their tasks, guards returned to find that Scarver had brutally beaten both men with a metal bar from the prison weight room. Dahmer was pronounced dead after approximately one hour, with Anderson also succumbing to his injuries days later. Jeffrey died in 1994 by the way.

Jeffrey Dahmer's name returned to the headlines again in August 2012, nearly two decades after his death, when it was reported his childhood home in Bath, Ohio—where he committed his first murder in 1978, and buried his victim's remains—was on the market. Its owner, musician Chris Butler, stated that the property would make a great home, as long as the buyer could "get past the horror factor."

In 2015, Christopher Scarver spoke to the New York Post about his reasons for killing Dahmer. Scarver alleged that he was disturbed not only by Dahmer's crimes, but by a habit Dahmer had developed of fashioning severed limbs from prison food to antagonize other inmates. After being taunted by Dahmer and Anderson during their work detail, Scarver said that he confronted Dahmer about his crimes before beating the two men to death. He also claimed that prison guards allowed the murders to happen by leaving them alone.

Intro

Happy new year everyone!!!!!

If you are reading this, then I really found something to write in my blog. I always wanted to write a blog, but about what I am good at. I spend so many time by thinking in what I am good at and about to finish the deadline, but still I cannot found. Though I have to pass.
