Has DA2 DLC ever been on sale for consoles? Little disappointed at the price compared to the game itself. And no ultimate/GOTY edition too :(

I have yet to see it on sale for anything. It’s a lot and honestly not worth such a steep price in my opinion. From time to time stores like GameStop will sell Bioware points (what’s used to purchase the DLC) but it’s rare and I’ve only ever caught it once.

Bioware forums will soon be no more

Come August 26 Bioware will be shutting down their forums for good. An official post has been made with the reason for the shut down being: "In the past, our forums were the only way we could speak to you directly. They allowed our developers to talk with fans, and gave our players the opportunity to talk with each other about our games. Several Slots Open For Dragon Age Style D&D

if any of you follow @dragonagenews, then you probably know about them opening up a server on Discord for Dragon Age D&D (DADA for short). And you probably know that it’s pretty much been filled up.

To summarize this post, I have a friend and a sibling who wants to play, but there aren’t any slots open that fit their schedule (one is GMT, and the other is a mixture). No big deal, really. So I simply made another server for a group on a much smaller scale. Makes things easier, really.

But, we are looking for specific members to join. Nothing too strict. 

Send a message to me on my Skype AlphaOm3ga713, and eventually I’ll make a group chat and discuss the terms. Usually focuses on scheduling, availability, activity, etc.

Admittedly I have never played D&D before so this will be very new to me. That said, if anyone is experienced in tabletop gaming I welcome you to come play and perhaps show those who are unfamiliar with this sort of thing the ropes

welcome to dragonagemods, the new headquarters on tumblr for dao and da2 modding! we’re managed by a variety of talented admins, and we’d love to help anyone in the community who’s interested in installing, creating, or just discovering mods. we’ve got a few reasons to be here:

request fills to help you find a particular kind of mod! odds are, one of us might have an idea what you’re looking for. 

troubleshooting and installation help, for all kinds of mods for both dao and da2. 

frequent mod recommendation and advice posts, to help the fandom discover the best modding content.

previews of upcoming major mods, including the realistic dao project. 

tutorials and help on request, for any aspiring dao/da2 modders who want a hand while getting started.

any other questions you might have! and, if you want a specific mod, some of us even take commissions.
