I know they say abys aren’t lap cats, but Orpheus is the biggest lap cat and has been from minute one. He’s precious.

I was doing my usual rambling and my sister listened for a minute, then said, “I can’t believe I put my hearing aids in for this.” I don’t know if I should laugh or cry, but I’m choosing laughter because it was hilarious.

Final update on Tybalt: Unfortunately, he passed away early this morning. I’m devastated. I know it was his time, but he was only eight and I don’t know what I’ll do without him.

I'm trying not to make everything I post about my cat's recovery process, but I'm not trying that hard.

Little update on Tybalt: He’s slowly regaining his appetite and walking a little better, but he’s very wobbly and unsteady. If I weren’t so anxious, it’d be pretty damn adorable.

UPDATE 2: Tybalt is home and resting in a playpen we got when Wesley was a puppy. He's very sleepy, but I think he's happy to be home, and he's certainly comfortable.

UPDATE: I get to bring Tybalt home later today and he’s doing extremely well! He’s even walking, though he’s apparently a bit wobbly.

No news is good news apparently, but I can’t stop worrying.

Today just doesn’t feel real. I keep hoping I’ll wake up and Tybalt will be magically, miraculously fine. He’s a fighter, but I’m terrified for him.
