Hello doctor, I have personal questions for you and of course, you are not obligated to answer.

Have you ever imagined a future with Clarice? And if so, are children involved in it? Have you ever wanted one?

As always, a person who respects you.

So many personal questions as of lately.

I have, every day. The thought of having children with Clarice crosses my mind at times. I can imagine teaching our kids to ride their bikes, how to throw ball, going to school board meetings because our son keeps skipping school or talking back to his teachers….but it’s never plausible, it would never happen. I know Clarice wouldn’t want kids and with who I am..I couldn’t have that with her. About your question for if I’ve ever wanted a child, sometimes but I know myself well enough to know that I wouldn’t be around all the time, I’m constantly on the move and that’s not good for a child’s development.

I hope this is not too invasive of a question to ask, but what happened to Lady Murasaki after you parted ways? What do you think of her now, after everything?

I’m not sure what ever happened her, after she decided it was best to part ways with me I never went after her. I found it better to just leave her in the past and continue with my life.

I still think highly of her, I just don’t feel the same way younger me did about her, my feelings are more so appreciative and I hope she had a decent life.

do you think of murder as a sensual act? do you revel in the intimacy of killing? the power of taking someone's life, holding it in your hands and watching their eyes flicker before going blank.

Before I start, I do not believe your question to be rude.

The..mutilation and eventual killing of my victims is I suppose a divine act, it’s tasteful and shines art through a rather artless person.

I would say I enjoy it, the last intake of breath my subject takes is so..beautiful, it’s exhilarating, it makes my insides clench in a sort of pleasure. Seeing the light leave someone’s eyes is such an intimate thing. For a few murderers it can be sensual, they do it for the close intimacy. For me I guess I just do it for the power, and if not that then I do it because I can.

I don’t imagine I’d kill someone if they asked me to, if they haven’t done something to deserve it why give it to them.
