I miss Myzzrym. Hope you're okay with my asking about her. Does she romance anyone when it comes to the events of the game and if so who?

omg OF COURSE!!!

so, when it comes to Myz, she's not really a Tav. in terms of BG3, she'd appear as an NPC along with her band of rogue carnies. i haven't quite worked out where she'd fit in to the main story as her storyline is not as deeply ingrained as one of the main characters.

that being said, if she were to have been tadpoled and met the main cast, i think she'd fall for someone like shadowheart or lae'zel. she already has a romantic interest in her own story but for the sake of this question i think those two are who she'd choose.

while not quite romantically interested in karlach she is still quite fond of the big goofy archetype, but still appreciates karlach's depth and authenticity. they bond over having been passed around and sold like prized trinkets for their talents and capabilities; they especially grow close over their shared experiences with chronic pain.

hihi for sleepover saturday: tell me about your favourite fictional character and why you love them!!

waugh this is such a hard question to answer, especially if i consider all my favorite characters over the years from all different kinds of media. right now though, it's gotta be my girl lae'zel. she speaks to me in a way no other character ever has. she inspires me to be more myself, aka more autistic and less a masking zombie. she inspires me to not give a fuck about what people think of me, and inspires me to love harder and love more authentically.

but aside from the serious stuff, she's just so well-developed. she is a work of art. she was so obviously lovingly crafted with the combined work of the writers, animators, and of course her lovely VA, who is so funny and interesting and talented. her relationships with the other characters and with Tav are so deep and meaningful if you take the time to really pay attention to her thoughts, feelings and how she interacts with her companions, both as a companion and an Origin character.

speaking of her origin story, her storyline is fucking killer. i always fall for the cold, hardened, love-starved ones. you can see her visibly soften throughout the game if you romance her; you can see that, in terms of romance, she has little experience outside of sex. these alien courting rituals are, well, alien to her, and i think it scares her a little bit because they involve so much vulnerability which is so different from her upbringing and home culture. but she learns to trust you and learns what it means to love somebody. before, she only saw blood red and death black, and you are trusted to show her every other color there possibly is.

i just. ugh. i love lae'zel so fucking much. i hold her so closely to my heart and she is truly special to me in a way i have not felt about a fictional character in a while. perhaps it's a little silly to be so stupidly in love with this pixelated green alien girl but she has genuinely taught me so much about myself and how to be more genuine and authentic. she's everything to me
