Most people tell me to forgive my abusive family just because they are my "family", also I would be more at peace if I do.

I don't think I'll ever do, after all the trauma I'm subjected to. Not everyone is forgiving and that doesn't mean such people are burdened with all the grudges they hold against their abusers. Whether I forgive them or not, they are going to be the same, regardless. I don't think they deserve any kind of forgiveness, I'm just going to ignore their existence for a while.

Found this meme extremely relatable. This has been the root of all my insecurities. I hate looking at myself in the mirror, everytime I have to go out I get anxiety attacks and try making all sorts of excuses to avoid being seen by people. I know nobody has got the time but I get the feeling that all eyes are upon me, judging me, like my parents always did.
