the 'what would each girl do if they win thronecoming queen' video is so fucking funny. apple wants to use her platform to do more charity and community work. raven wants to encourage her classmates to write their own destiny. blondie wants to improve the food quality in the castleteria. all things that are good and thoughtful for everyone in the school. and cupid, my angel my darling my love, wants nothing to change. keep things as the way they were. she just does NOT want daring as her thronecoming king. fucking hits her gavel on the judge's bench and opens up a trap door under him and sends him to hell. then appoints dexter as her king. she's my hero

it's crazy how cupid went from the monster world to ever after but i think meeshell went through an equally crazy transition. she's been living in WATER most of her life then has to start living in LAND. insane. i imagine a lot of things in the underwater world are probably engineered to be neutrally buoyant (something that doesn't sink or rise in water) for ease of convenience and that's a fact that meeshell forgets constantly. farrah watches as meeshell gets back inside their dorm and hangs her bag up in the air and then lets go and it just falls to the floor scattering everything inside. farrah stares at meeshell who stares at her bag and then she sheepishly admits that she forgot things don't float in the surface world.

happy birthday to poppy and holly and the fact that it took me until i was today years old to realize that poppy's regular hairstyle of having the ends of her hair dyed purple was meant to resemble the actual rapunzel flower being plain white with the ends of its petals being colored purple. a great hint to the fact that it's supposed to be poppy and not holly who's meant to take the rapunzel role.

EAH animated series Dexter: He isn't confident in himself because he can't ask out Raven.

EAH books Dexter: He's a victim of child abuse, being emotionally taken advantage of behind closed doors by his father. He grew up thinking that he is always meant to be second best to Daring. His destiny crisis leaves him wondering what his future would be like at all if he doesn't even know who his true love is. He tries his hardest to please his father to let him know that he has what it takes to be like his brother (even though he might be doing it out of fear of being useless or poofing away if he doesn't). He influenced Raven to question her own destiny, causing her to identify as a rebel later after that.
